Phaedra Parks criticizes Gene Simmons after harsh DWTS result
Season 33 of Dancing with the stars He was on fire. After celebrating Soul Train Night, the contestants embraced Hair Metal Night. There was lots of lycra, mullets, hairspray and fireworks. Of course, all of this made the guest referee, Gene Simmons From KISS, feel at home. I think the best way to describe his refereeing style is off track. and Phaedra Parks He wasn’t having any of it.
Phaedra Parks was furious about Gene Simmons’ shockingly low score
Phaedra and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced a paso doble to Bon Jovi’s song, “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Judges Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough raised a 7-paddle for the couple. But Gene lifted a 5-oar. His low scores astonished both Val and Phaedra.
“I loved the routine, and I thought we did a good job, even though Gene Simmons was completely obsessed,” Phaedra told Page Six. Phaedra then noted that her partner was a “great coach.” As Phaedra pondered why the rock legend would give such a strange result, she said, “I thought it was… [Gene] I didn’t like short black women. amazing.
“It’s always fun to have a guest judge on the dance floor,” Val joked. Until it isn’t. This was one of those times. Gene also gave some other confusing results, tallied the result and then chose to raise a different paddle, and made allegedly creepy comments to Chandler Kinney. He commented on its “fluctuations” and stated that it “fogged my glasses.” My friend. Just… oh shit.
Meanwhile, Phaedra embraced her rockin’ transformation. “Of course, I’m giving Tina Turner, the ultimate rock diva, the ultimate iconic woman, you know?
