Joey Graziadei’s wedding plans are on hold during DWTS
Who has time to plan a wedding when you have a Mirrorball trophy to win? Apparently, this Joey Graziadei The position is now competing for Dancing with the stars. You can’t say he doesn’t take this competition seriously.
The Bachelor graduate recently confirmed that he and Kelsey Anderson They de-prioritized their wedding. However, we’re not sure if it’s really about dancing or just a convenient excuse to prolong their engagement.
DWTS beats Joey Graziadei’s marriage
For Dancing with the Stars Season 33, Joey was partnered with Jenna Johnson. They kind of killed it at Hair Metal Night, but Joey recently told Us Weekly that the competition is getting “harder and tougher.”
“I think it gets a little worse as it goes on, but honestly I’m getting over it,” Joey explained. “I just try to take it every day.”
With that in mind, Joey confirmed that he and Kelsey aren’t focused on wedding planning. Just like DWTS, he’s taking their engagement one day at a time as well.
“I really think our goal right now is to get through this dance,” Joey admitted, “and get settled in where we’re going to live next. And then we’ll have to set a date, figure out the location, and clean everything up a little bit.
Basically, they didn’t plan anything related to their wedding. He proposed during the Bachelorette finale, and they’ve been freaking out ever since. If this is what it takes to ensure their relationship continues, then more power to them. We’ve seen enough Bachelor breakups to last a lifetime.
And if you needed any reassurance that Joey and Kelsey’s relationship is still going strong, the Bachelor alum revealed that his next dance is dedicated to her. At the upcoming dedication night on DWTS, he will perform a Viennese waltz to Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.” Apparently, that’s enough for Kelsey for now.
“It’s pretty special, honestly,” Kelsey told the outlet. “I love all of his dances, but this one will definitely be extra special for me.”
Dancing with the Stars continues Tuesday nights at 8/7c on Disney+ and ABC.
