Alexia Umansky talks about why her parents discussed their separation on TV

Alexia Umansky She has been on reality TV since 2013, so she is a pro at sharing details about her life. But last year, things were a little more difficult for her. In case you’re not familiar, her mother and father (Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky) announced that they were having marital problems. We saw a few of them while on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, Alexia has filmed more in her Netflix series, Buying Beverly Hills.

Alexia wanted to be open and honest about her parents’ separation and Beverly Hills purchase

During a conversation with Us Weekly, Alexia discussed being in the public eye and how that pressured her family to talk about their issues before they were ready.

“With everything that’s going on in our family in the public eye, and being in front of the camera, you talk about things a little sooner than you’re ready for them,” she said. “It just naturally happens, and we were really drawn to that experience.”

Alexia told the publication that she and Kyle have always been close. Despite this, Mo has been “very honest” throughout this journey. “Our communications have completely excelled since this experience,” she said.

In addition to their open communication, the Netflix star said she and her family have become much closer. “But we’re finally getting good at confrontation and difficult conversations,” she explained. “We’ve always been positive. It’s been a learning curve for us: It’s okay to talk about difficult things; it leads to more positivity.”

Kyle spoke about filming scenes for Season 2 of Beverly Hills Buyout earlier this month. “Obviously I want what’s best for him and my daughter,” she said, explaining that they’ve been supporting her on the Bravo show since 2010. “I made sure to come support them this season — we had to work it out between the two of them.” Networking… has been around for years [Housewives]”.
