With the success of Peacock’s The Traitors, fans are already starting to speculate
With the success of Peacock Traitors, fans are already speculating about what might be around the corner for Season 3. The first season showed a mix of civilians and stars jumping through hoops to win challenges in order to build their bank. The first season wasn’t the most exciting because the fans didn’t know half the players. But Season 2 stepped up the game in a big way by introducing the OG reality TV players from shows like Real Housewives, Survivor, The Challenge, and Big Brother. It is now inevitable that the third season will be announced. The only question is when.
The best-performing series is based on the Dutch series. The chain has counterparts in the UK, Australia, France, Canada, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Ireland, Greece and the US, with production dipping into multiple cookie jars (i.e. different franchises) I guess we’ll see Star of Vanderpump Rules. Maybe Sheena Shay will finally get her wish to be relevant!
Rumors
With any show that is so popular, there are bound to be unfounded rumors. Honestly, it’s all part of the fun. One tall tale going around is that after launching The Challenge 40, Veronica Portillo quickly dropped out. Rumors were that she was asked to take part in the third season of The Traitors instead. Another name thrown into the mix is Dance Moms star Chloé Lukasiak. In a story reposted on Instagram via TV Deets, Chloé took a photo of a suitcase and a sleeping mask, both labeled “The Traitors.”
Real Housewives of Potomac star Monique Samuels took to Instagram to share that she has not, in fact, been cast in season three. Although fans were convinced it was. There were also rumors of Tony Vlachos being selected from Survivor. But again, the network has not confirmed anything.
Our dream team
Trying to figure out who will be in the cast for the new season is literally the million dollar question. No one knows, and no one within the small circle is offering hints. Peacock will look to create the same formula it did in season two. It mixed players, rivals, and even a deputy to create some deliciously salacious drama. Now, I probably don’t know much about selecting the best players for your fantasy football league. But I know who would be my top two draft picks for season 3 of The Traitors.
Unfortunately, we already know that Wes Bergman has already been involved in turning down the offer for Season 3 due to his previous commitments. So I don’t get the starting linebacker per se. But my first choice would be Dorinda Medley. I really don’t think I need to explain myself, but here’s why. Dorinda will be loyal, and will try to manage and control everything, which can drive her crazy when others don’t listen. The “Make it Nice” queen is highly competitive. You will feel at home in the larger version of Bluestone Manor.
I’m sticking with the ladies theme for my second choice. I think Tiffany Pollard needs a hell of a redemption arc. I remember her from Flavor Flav- yeah, I know she was dating me, but she was a bad bitch. It was often given the evil edit, but it was misunderstood. Tiffany is loud, brash, and knows what she brings to any reality TV show. So the producers are giving this woman a chance to score ratings!
When will season 3 air?
Peacock has yet to announce a release date, but there are rumors that filming will begin within the next two weeks. Scotland is not the warmest place, with temperatures reaching the mid-60s in early June. If Alan Cumming wants his young players to roam the field, the weather will have to be decent. The first two seasons aired in January, which makes me think that the third part will be released in early 2025. In fact, Alan will reopen his castle and return as host of the series. So, Peacock, don’t betray me when it comes to choosing the best actors yet.
