Why Sister Wives Star Janelle Brown Might Go To Law Against Ex-Husband Kody
In the second episode of sisters wives Season 19, Janelle Brown She dropped a bombshell. Janelle claimed she was done playing nice with her ex-husband. The reality TV star left Cody BrownShe’s tired of waiting for the head of the family to figure out a solution for her life. Especially since she’s more than ready to move on. The family’s land, Coyote Pass, has been a thorn in Janelle’s side for years. And she’s ready to use heavy weapons to achieve victory.
Janelle Brown Isn’t Playing Games and Is Ready to Take Legal Action Against Kody Brown
On the Sunday, September 22 episode of Sister Wives , Janelle threw down the gauntlet when she told Christine Brown that she might need “a lawyer.” Janelle’s stance was refreshing to viewers who agree that she’s entitled to what’s hers. Even if her ex-husband seemed unable to make up her mind. Sister Wives viewers were given a behind-the-scenes look at what was really going on inside the polygamous family. “It’s crazy to me that Kody isn’t taking this seriously,” added Janelle, who doesn’t usually open up about her feelings.
The Sister Wives star then explained how Coyote Pass was divided up, saying, “The first two-acre piece of land is now for Kody and I; the second is for Kody and Robyn; the third is a four-acre piece of land that is for Meri and me and Kody; and then the five-acre piece of land — because Kristen called it quits — is for Kody and Robyn.” The land is important to Janelle because it’s “basically the only asset we’re going to have from the marriage.”
Janelle delved into family issues, adding, “If Kody isn’t willing to buy out my share, I’m going to have to do something about it. But we have to pay it back, and he’s not talking to me about it.”
Janelle isn’t afraid to confront Kody.
“I think I’m going to have to get a lawyer because I think that’s the only way I’m going to be able to make any decisions from him,” Janelle revealed. Even in the midst of her confession, Janelle seemed exhausted by the thought of fighting. “Part of it is I don’t really have any legal rights to claim any kind of property from Kody,” she revealed to Kristen. “Like we’re not legally married. It’s not like I’m calling a lawyer and saying I need to divorce this person. No, it’s really complicated because there’s no legal marriage.”
Hopefully Janelle can get what she deserves without having to go to war. But with Cody, you never know what you’re going to get.
