Why Heather Dubrow can “enjoy” RHOC reunions
Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County It was a good idea to Heather DubrowDepending on who you talk to. Of course, Heather didn’t agree with newbie Katie Ginella over the claims that Heather calls the paparazzi herself. And of course, there were some bumps in the road with Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson. But compared to last season? Fancy Pants sips heroes and stays away from heavy drama.
Heather Dubrow is “enjoying” the reunions
Overall, Heather felt that season 18 was “more balanced” for her. Heather has no interest in having any kind of relationship with Katie. Or in reframing their past issues. “I would have more respect for Katie if she walked up to me and said, ‘I screwed up.’ But all I hear from Katie is ‘Whose fault is it?’” “That was the wrong approach,” Heather said of the newcomer.
As usual, more cheating rumors emerged about her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow. Once again, she expertly hit them.
Most recently, Heather was a guest on the Out & About podcast. While chatting, she said that this is her third season with the series. Right now, the Orange County women have some additional obligations. “We still have like interviews and stuff, and we have a reunion coming up,” Heather said.
“Oh. Those are always a nightmare,” said Joey Camasta, one of the hosts. But Fancy Pants begged to differ. “I’m enjoying the reunion,” Heather replied.
“You enjoy it because you don’t involve yourself in the drama,” the host replied. So, Heather unpacked her thoughts on preparing for the reunion. “But even when I do that, I feel like people get very scared,” Heather explained. “Oh, like they have to prepare and study and bring…” You know what? When you’re not actually lying, and you know who you are as a person and can speak effectively, you don’t really need to prepare. Boom!
Then Joey came up with a funny idea. “Do you know what you should do?” Comment. “You always said that the more experienced girls should hold a boot camp class for all the new friendly housewives who come along, right?” “I mean…” Heather replied.
“And tell them how to act, how to stir up drama the right way, without going to jail or ruining your marriage, or ruining your life, or ruining your kids’ lives,” Joey continued. “Because you guys were the crash test dummies, literally… for this whole thing,” he added.
“That’s very true,” Heather replied. I’d love to see Fancy Pants in a villa in France or Italy, with a group of new housewives, so she can teach them how to be a proper suspicious lady.
