Why did RHOP’s Dr. Wendy Osefo give up her job as a professor?

The adjudication is no longer in session. Dr. Wendy Osifo She announced that she was leaving her job as a professor. If you’ve been watching closely, this career update has been a long time coming. In every season The Real Housewives of PotomacWendy tried to set up new business ventures. She has been a political commentator, chandler, and author. You name it, Wendy’s done it.

Now that she has officially left her professorship, there are two lingering questions. What’s next for Dr. Wendy, and how the hell is she going to explain this to her mother?

When we first met Wendy on RHOP, she came fully loaded with an arsenal full of scientific applause, and declared that she was proud of her role at Johns Hopkins. This passion has developed over the years, and during the Season 9 premiere of RHOP, Wendy announced that she was leaving her college position because she no longer felt “accomplished.”

“I wanted to quit for a very long time,” Wendy admitted. “I’m 40, but I still have other things to do.”

Part of what she wants to do is focus on her YouTube channel and her online candle shop, where you can buy two candles for $100. Most importantly, she wants to focus on her three children. This is a full-time job in itself.

“I have a known life outside of being a professor,” Wendy explained in the episode.

On RHOP, the cameras rolled as Wendy wrote her resignation letter. I pressed send, and there was no turning back! Her husband, Eddie Osefo, joined her in the room to celebrate. That’s when Wendy admitted she had mixed feelings about the change.

On the one hand, Wendy said she’s happy to exit the role on her own terms. At the same time, she felt a little nervous about telling her mother. We all know that Iyom Susan Okuzu doesn’t play around, especially when it comes to Wendy’s career.

“There’s going to be a lot of curse words, revelations to the Lord, and some holy ghost fire in there. ‘A little dazzling,'” Wendy predicted.
