Whitney Rose Responds to ‘Deliberate’ Attack From RHOSLC Cast
Whitney Rose She had some words for her cast mates after The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 premiere. In particular, she couldn’t help but comment on Lisa Barlow’s actions at the end of the premiere.
For those who missed the premiere, Whitney and Lisa were in a heated argument. However, Lisa wasn’t the only one attacking the businessman. Whitney’s other colleagues spoke out against her as well. As such, Whitney couldn’t help but feel targeted, especially over some petty drama.
Some viewers may argue that Lisa overreacted to Whitney’s behavior. Others may argue that Whitney was deliberately trying to provoke her coworkers. However, regardless of the viewer’s perspective, Whitney couldn’t help but feel like she was the target of a planned attack.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Whitney opened up about the attack she was subjected to on the season premiere. “It was the most deliberate attack I’ve ever been involved in,” she said. “I’m really proud of myself for staying calm.” Whitney explained that her past self probably wouldn’t have allowed her to act as “calm” or defend herself.
“I feel like they had a plan. They knew exactly what they were doing,” she continued. She also stressed that the allegations of her being a “liar” were completely unfounded. Whitney also highlighted the hypocrisy, noting that her cast mates were documented liars. “I don’t care. … I know the truth,” Whitney reiterated.
Later in the interview, Whitney also mentioned that “Lisa threw the bottle unintentionally. The bottle didn’t even break.” Like the team itself, Whitney described the throw as “deliberate.” She explained, “You could see she was thinking about it. It was very staged.” Whitney sincerely wished that Lisa had thrown the bottle “all the way” and broken it.
