What would Melissa Gorga say no to RHONJ producers
I do The Real Housewives of New Jersey The producers have a problem with Melissa Gorga? Or is it the other way around? In any reality production, one imagines a certain amount of give and take between producers and stars.
But producing RHONJ seems particularly risky. The ongoing feud between Teresa Giudice’s family and the Gorgas family would theoretically make filming difficult for several reasons.
In fact, late last year, rumors suggested that producers were frustrated with Trey. Her refusal to film with her estranged family allegedly made it difficult to find any drama on screen. As for Melissa, her production issues look a little different.
Why Melissa Told Producers She ‘Didn’t Care’
Bravo recently released an interview between Melissa and Real Housewives of New Jersey producer Serife. During the conversation, Melissa asked if there was “a moment that I liked, that gave you some attitude?” “You know how you want something to look,” Serife replied. “You might want to change the space we use.”
“So, you might back off on that a little bit,” the producer continued. Some unaired footage was then played as Melissa asked the cameras to get the “best angles”. When production informed her that they were trying to work around the house’s mirrors, she said, “I don’t care about that.”
Returning to the interview, Melissa answered, “I feel like that’s my biggest reaction a lot of times. Like, they’ll turn the lights off, and I’m like, ‘No, I love that chandelier, I really want it.'” And they’re like, “You’re not going to look good with that.” The light above your head.’ And I say, ‘I don’t care.’ I want my own chandelier.”
