West Wilson responds to ‘disastrous’ reunion with Ciara Miller
The perspective has changed radically. West Wilson And Ciara Miller The dynamic in Summer House Season 8 was fun and engaging. All the while, fans were rooting for the potential couple.
The nurse-turned-model took her time to feel the situation. The West was seen as respectable at first. After that, questions started to arise about how exclusive the Bravolebrity newbie was. He denied sleeping with other women during filming. Those words came back to bite him at the reunion.
It’s as if the entire facade has slipped. When Ciara shared her side of the story, it was clear that West was prioritizing his newfound fame over her feelings. Meanwhile, the Missouri native stumbled over his answers.
West blames “external factors” for his behavior towards Ciara
West is now giving interviews after the reunion. Damage control appears to be a powerful incentive. The reality TV star spoke with Bustle the day after the “Disaster” interview aired to share his perspective.
“I was nervous because I hadn’t seen her for a long time. And secondly, we’ve never had a hard lockdown. “We just agreed not to talk, and after that I didn’t really know where we stood. Third, I tried to respond to what others were saying [instead of] Say what I wanted to say. “It was a disaster.”
It’s a reasonable assessment of what happened. Ciara described giving West a chance to end things, only for him to take her home to meet his parents and attend a wedding. Talk about mixed signals.
“He was playing with me,” the Bravolebrity veteran told host Andy Cohen on the Summer House reunion. “[I] He went to his parents’ house. We went and stayed with his brother in Chicago. We went to a wedding.”
Reflecting on the reunion with Bustle, West doubled down on his impression that he and Ciara ended things on a clean slate. He also failed to take responsibility for harming the Summer House favourite.
“But looking back after the reunion, [I realize] “I blamed a lot of external factors for not being ready yet,” he explained. “The more she thought about it, the more she thought about her feelings [at the reunion] “It was valid.”
Summer House viewers are on Ciara’s side on this. If West was hoping to build a fan base, it backfired massively.
“I’m blown away by all the support and kind messages after last night,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories after the encounter aired. “I just wanted to say I appreciate it so much and I see you all.”
