West Wilson mocks Jesse Solomon’s decorating skills

In Season 8 of Summer House, West did a great job of turning the house into an apocalyptic party. Jesse clearly didn’t help at all in making the party come to life.
“It took Jesse six weeks to learn how to hang one piece of decor last summer, so we had to teach him that,” West joked to Us Weekly.
At least they were willing to teach him. By the end of the summer, Jesse wasn’t exactly an expert, but he could at least learn a thing or two. That was better than nothing.
“He walked around with a piñata for 40 minutes, and we were like, ‘Man, go hang it up and then get some more stuff,’” West recalls. “So you just learn.”
As resident newbies, learning is something they do together. For example, West said that entering the Summer House universe in season eight meant they had to get extra creative with their themes. Original creators like Kyle Cook and Carl Radke have done all that already.
“But it’s hard now. They’ve all lived in this house for eight years, and there’s no more themed parties,” West explained. “So coming up with unique party ideas takes a good collaborative effort.”
Bravo hasn’t officially confirmed the full cast for Summer House season 9, but it’s clear that West will be back for another round. And if that happens, he said he already has some ideas for his next themed party. He wants to throw a “goth night,” so Jesse needs to pack some costumes and start practicing his decorating skills.
“It’s hard to decorate the place like that,” West admitted. “I don’t know. You do posters of rock bands or something. I have no idea. But the look itself is cool, like grunge music. It’s cool.”
