you are welcome in Below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea Season 9 premiere! In this week’s episode, titled “Large Greek Yacht Emergency,” a new crew led by Captain Sandy has less than a day to prepare the chaotic yacht before the first guests arrive. “Huge f*ckup supply” means no wine, prosecco or champagne delivered. When the guests want a late-night snack, Elena decides to wake up the chef to cook for them. Here are some highlights from Below Deck Mediterranean, Season 9, Episode 1.

Prosecco problem

Once the crew settles in, it’s good to go. The first guests are scheduled to arrive in less than 24 hours, and the boat is a complete mess. Unfortunately, Aisha’s internal crew is one person short due to a leak in one of the crew compartments. Until this leak is fixed, there is nowhere for another stew to sleep. Sandy hopes to fix the problem at some point during the season, but for now, Aisha will have to do her best by cooking a couple of stews.

After delivering the supplies, Aisha realized she hadn’t gotten any wine, prosecco or champagne. “Where the hell are you?”

You call the provider who says it will be delivered tomorrow. It’s better to be early, because there is a charter flight at noon.

The next morning, Aisha texted asking when she could expect the rest of her supplies. The provider replies, “Sorry for the delay. We’ve had some issues. I hope your order will be there by 11:45.” Yikes! This is cutting it close.

Fortunately, Aisha found one bottle of champagne in the crew mess, but that wouldn’t last long. What a sh*t show!

When guests arrive, they receive one glass of champagne. But then Aisha explains: “Full disclosure. We got a huge f*ckup saving. So this is the last glass of champagne because no one has arrived.”

“Stop!” says one of the unbelieving guests. These people paid a huge amount of money for their two-day trip. I would be unhappy too.

“Are there roses?” another guest asks hopefully.

“No, he didn’t arrive,” Aisha apologizes. “I can make cocktails. I’ve been on the phone with them all morning. He’s coming as soon as he can.”

Sandy interjected

Out of desperation, Aisha goes to Sandy for help. The captain texts the supplier, “This is Sandy from Mustique. Are we missing wine from our order? Can we deliver this right away?!”

I got a reply: “We will send some alcohol right away as a small order. The rest will arrive with a larger supply order later.”

Eventually, a truck arrives carrying some champagne but not much. “There are no roses, no red wine,” Aisha says regretfully.

At the same time, Sandy receives a text, “Unfortunately we were unable to get the rosé/wine on short notice, but we were able to send the champagne, more to come later.”

“That’s unacceptable,” Sandy replies.

seriously? Yacht provider doesn’t have a stock of rosé and red wine on hand? This is madness. According to mythology, the Greek god Dionysus is the one who invented vintage. You would think they would be able to get their hands on some red wine in Greece.

Finally, the provider called and told them he could bring the wine to them around 7:30 via water taxi, as they should be at anchor by then. At least it should be in time for dinner.

The presenter is stalling

As the guests prepare for dinner, Aisha makes another call to the server. It’s eight o’clock in the evening, and their supplies haven’t been delivered yet.

“Unfortunately, your items were delivered to the wrong water taxi,” he told her. “But I have everything now, and I will come to you in an hour.” amazing. Who are these men? Very unprofessional!

“Who was responsible for this?” Aisha asks frustrated. “Tell them they’re so bad!”

But then she adds: “I appreciate you trying to make it right for me.” I don’t know if I could be so kind under the same circumstances.

In the kitchen, Chef Juno receives a message that supplies won’t arrive until 9:00. His dinner is The decision It’s 9:00 p.m., and guests are expecting surf and turf, but he doesn’t have any lobster. He flips through his recipe notebook and decides he can make crab.

Just as the guests ask if the other wines have arrived, Sandy receives a text from the service provider: “The water taxi is coming with your supplies. They will arrive in less than 10 minutes.” hooray!

At the table, guests love the prepared Juno ceviche. “Half of the supplies didn’t arrive, but that’s exactly what we wanted,” says one of them. They all agree that the chef is good.

When supplies finally arrived, Sandy realized, “There’s no red wine. There’s no red wine.” Oh, Hell no!”

“Given how bad of a mess this supply company has been, we’re going to have to make some changes after this charter,” Sandy continues.

Although they were upset about the lack of wine with dinner, the guests were impressed by Chef Jono. “You’ve got a good chef,” they say.

“It’s so quiet!” Aisha says in her confessions. “I’m crying in the dining room, and he’s saying ‘Namaste.’

Bree is the new Barbie

Bree says she always had a maid while growing up. Now a housekeeper, she realizes she was “definitely not respected as much as I should have been.” She’s having a hard time figuring out how to steam her guests’ clothes. Is Bree a BDM Barbie Pasquale?

The afternoon is spent tending to the irons, but when they are ready to dress for dinner, only one guest seems to have any clothes. They’re really nice about it, even though they’re really upset. Ayesha jumps to help her.

Bree also struggles in the cabins. She spent the afternoon steaming clothes in the laundry room and then neglecting them in the guest cabins. Elena tells her not to worry. It’s the first day, and they’re going to do some training together.

“Brie says she’s worked on boats before,” Elena interviews. “Doubtful. Sorry, you can’t have deadweight because we’re already giving 110% as it is. Didn’t Brie say in her confessional that she didn’t finish her season on a boat? That might explain that.”

Cheesy situation

After sending Bree to bed, Aisha texts the provider again. “My red wine wasn’t delivered,” she says. “I need him to come in the morning. This is unacceptable.”

As she was helping Elena at the bar, the server replied, “I apologize. We seem to have forgotten the wine and reposado. I’ll get to you by 11:00 AM.” I won’t hold my breath.

Aisha leaves Elena at 11:35 to go to bed as she has to wake up early for breakfast. When Elena holds a pitcher of margaritas, someone else orders a mojito. They also want late-night snacks: grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, and nachos. It’s 12:30, and she’s alone on duty. This is where she should have drawn the line and said, “I’ll get you some chips.”

Elena feels exhausted and decides to wake up Chevy, who has just gone to bed. When she tiptoes into his cabin and whispers that the guests want food, he says, “I don’t think so.”

Guests wonder where the food and mojitos are. Elena finally made it clear that she was the only one doing her best. After running around in circles, I decided to try waking up the chef again.

“Juno’s selfish behavior makes me look bad,” she says.

Once again, she tries to convince the chef to bring grilled cheese, but he replies, “I’m not doing anything. I haven’t slept enough.”

In one interview, he said: “Bitch, are you stupid? This won’t do you any good.” No, my dear, this will not be in your best interest You.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.
