WATCH: Bethenny Frankel walks the L’Oreal Paris runway
She’s a mom, a chef, and a TikToker. Bethenny Frankel She can do it all. Now, she can add “model” to her ever-growing resume thanks to her latest collaboration with L’Oréal Paris. The Real Housewives of New York City alum recently hit the runway in a high-fashion moment, and the results are… interesting! You be the judge.
Bethenny made her way down the catwalk.
The L’Oréal Paris show during Paris Fashion Week was attended by a slew of celebrities. Among them were professional models like Kendall Jenner and Heidi Klum. Then suddenly, Bethenny appeared, showing off her elegance on the runway.
It’s hard to watch the video without immediately thinking of Ramona Singer’s iconic runway walk. Bethenny’s walk is just as bizarre, but for different reasons. Wearing high heels and a black dress, Bethenny strode down the runway like a horse performing a dressage routine. When she reached the end of the runway, she did a cute little squawk before turning her face.
On her way back to the runway, she gave Viola Davis a shout-out. We didn’t expect it. Bethenny celebrated her runway moment on social media, captioning the video, “I deserve it… and so do you. I love you. XO.”
Bethenny responds to her critics on the runway
Underneath the video of Bethenny’s runway appearance, she received an outpouring of love from fans, Bravolebrities, and regular celebrities. Even Lindsay Lohan chimed in in the comments and dropped a few heart emojis. That’s a big deal, but of course, not all the comments were positive. Of course, Bethenny is no stranger to trolls.
“The flight wasn’t good. Sorry,” one person wrote. “I must be the only one who thinks this is ridiculous,” another added.
In a later post, Bethenny responded to critics and defended her runway walk. She said she intentionally chose those shoes and walked that way because she wanted to look like a “giraffe.” She’s a model, and you can’t tell otherwise.
She wrote in her comment: “Do what you want to do…this is what I do.”
