Everyone remembers Peter Madrigal from Vanderpump Rules. The SUR director appeared on the series as a guest from day one, but after a scandal, he and the network went their separate ways. Since he left the show, fans have not seen Peter in any other unscripted series. However, things could change with his new project.
Peter offers a one-stop-shop for all things reality TV
After spending years in front of the camera (and interacting with his biggest stars), Peter is ready to build on the knowledge he’s accumulated by launching a television network.
“You may have seen me on reality TV… back in the day,” he began his TikTok video. “But like y’all, I’m also a fan of reality TV.”
He continued by saying that he loves fun and chaos, but most importantly, he is passionate about “the business side.”
“So, I’m here to give life to those shows that deserve to be on the network for everyone to see,” he explained.
Later, he channeled his inner Daniel Oliveira and said that as president and owner of his company Reality Network, his goal is to bring “real life” and “drama” to television.
Will Peter return to Vanderpump Rules?
It was shocking to learn that Peter would not be returning to Vanderpump Rules for season 11. As mentioned, the SUR director has been a part of the show since season one. In early 2024, he revealed that although the production company asked him to film Season 11, it would have been for free.
“So, basically my choice was come back on the show for free. Or don’t do it. That’s basically what happened. So, I was getting paid by the show from the start of the show. Then they asked me to do it for free.”
With the chatter surrounding the future of the show and who may or may not return, Peter likely won’t be part of those conversations either.
