Travis Kelce’s Boot Camp Look Is a Nod to Taylor Swift’s Love Story

It wasn’t a short haircut or bleached hair, but the Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently sported a mustache at the NFL team’s training camp on July 21 — the same look he had when he first met the “Fortnite” singer last summer.

In a video shared by the NFL team on X, formerly known as Twitter, Travis paired his signature facial hair with red athletic shorts, an 87 jersey, Nike Jordan 1 football shoes, and a new haircut.

As the leaders joked in the caption: “El Travador is back.”

Travis – who is known to change his look from time to time, and has previously referred to himself with his mustache as “El Travador” – shared that his boot camp look was what he was wearing the day he met Taylor.

“I will tell you, that mustache and that 87 jersey were pretty special there for a while,” Travis explained during a press conference in October 2023. “They were special when I first met Taylor.”
