According to Heavy, Tom shared his feelings about Joe’s decision to make their private conversation public during a recent appearance on Balancing Act with The Valley stars Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick.
He explained that it bothered him so much that Jo would not provide anyone with the full context of their conversation. “It was firm. But it’s constructive.” “And it felt like a huge violation when I went and read that.”
Tom also reiterated that Jo chose the scripts to suit her novel. While he understands that she’s going through some emotions and is hurt “a little,” he still doesn’t like it (according to him), and she only shares the parts of their conversations that fit her story.
He also confirmed that he has since blocked Joe on social media. “I wish her well but she is not in my life in any capacity and never will be,” Tom confirmed.
He added: “The reasons that made me stay away from Joe are very valid. She must respect these people.” He added that Joe told some “outrageous lies” which he has since “debunked”. He admitted to inviting some of them but didn’t want to publicize these uncomfortable conversations.
Ultimately, he doesn’t like “the idea that she’s the victim and he played her role.” If everyone knew the whole story, Tom is confident people would sing a different tune.
However, even then, it’s normal for people to make their own assumptions, especially when Tom’s ex and his friends like Katie Maloney are willing to back her up regarding Tom’s bad behavior.
