Tom Sandoval Drops Lawsuit Against Ariana Madix

On July 16, news spread that Tom Sandoval He will sue. Ariana MadixThe Vanderpump Rules stars have already faced sexual assault allegations from Rachel Levis, and Tom’s case appears to be based on Rachel’s.

Tom’s lawsuit alleged that Ariana accessed, copied, and distributed material on his phone without his permission. Whether or not these allegations were true, the public was highly critical of Tom for the lawsuit. It seemed as though Tom was holding out for anything he could to secure a victory against Ariana.

Tom quickly calmed down his social media activity, briefly deleting his Instagram account. Now, just a few days later, the worm is back online with an update on the lawsuit.

Tom claims he didn’t know he was suing Ariana.

On July 18, Tom posted on Instagram to clarify the lawsuit. “Late Tuesday afternoon, my attorney Matt Geragos, whose advice I trust, contacted me regarding the cross-complaint in the lawsuit against me and Ariana. He assured me that this is a completely normal and protective procedure in these types of lawsuits,” he wrote.

Tom alleged that Geragos “urged” him to “agree” to the cross-complaint. “The phrase ‘new lawsuit’ or ‘sued’ was never made clear to me,” he continued. “I should have done more due diligence on this matter.” Tom then asserted that he fired Geragos after realizing what was really happening.

“I am not suing Ariana in any way,” Tom explained. “The lawsuit against Ariana was filed on my behalf. I have no ill will or vengeance toward Ariana.” Well. Tom concluded by expressing how he hopes Rachel’s lawsuit will be resolved quickly. Additionally, Tom has disabled comments on the post.

As with anything Tom says, the measure of truth here is pure speculation. In all likelihood, Tom probably doesn’t know much about the legalities. So it’s pretty much assumed that Bravo probably intervened by making a hard-hitting phone call to Mr. Sandoval.

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
