The Secret Life of Mormon Wives Season 2 to begin filming

Well, fans of our favorite influential Mormon moms – your prayers have been answered! The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives You will pick up where you left off. Which is a good thing because there were a lot of exciting events at the end of Season 1!

Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is getting a second season!

TMZ reports that the new Hulu series has been greenlit for a second season. Insiders claim that the cast will start filming soon, and pre-production is already underway in Utah.

The show, which was Hulu’s first unscripted offering of 2024, returns with the same cast. That means more Demi Engman, Jen Affleck, Jessie Ngatekura, Lili Taylor, Frankie Paul Taylor, Michaela Matthews, Maisie Neely, and Whitney Levitt. I’m glad the entire cast is back because there were some big questions left unanswered.

I would like to say kudos to these ladies for bringing home bacon for their families. They were all part of the content creation group MomTok, which Taylor started. However, Taylor blew up the Internet, and MomTok, when she announced that she was getting a divorce from her husband, Tate Paul. This “soft swing” was included.

During the end of Season 1, Whitney decided to leave MomTok and perhaps continue working at home. Plus there was more drama on set. Jen’s husband, Zack Affleck, threatened to divorce her because she was about to go to a Chippendales show. During the finale, Zack convinced Jen to quit MomTok and move to New York.

Meanwhile, Whitney’s husband struggles with porn addiction, and Maisie launches her career on the show. However, Taylor’s tense relationship with Dakota Mortensen took a turn for the worse. In the season 1 finale, she gives birth to their son Ever True. For now, it looks like the couple is taking some time to breathe.

Season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu.
