The second season of The Real Housewives of Dubai has finally arrived, bringing with it…

the The Real Housewives of Dubai The Season 2 reunion is finally here, wrapping up the many different stories and friendships within this crew. It’s been an excellent showcase of shifting alliances, vast fortunes, and petty antics. This week, we focus on the ongoing feud between Talen and Brooks, while Stanbury and Ian are still going strong, which is making Lisa even more angry. As for Stanbury, she’s not here for more “sugar daddy” claims, so she’s doing her best to explain her friendship with Michael Davis, the man who let her and Sergio overstay their welcome while they were building their home. It was a lot, but it was also, well, enough, expertly mixed as always on this lighthearted Real Housewives series. Find out what we mean now with our recap of The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Reunion, Part 1.

Blood and Love Fest Begins at RHODubai Season 2 Reunion, Part 1

As the ladies arrive, Ayan explains that she is here “not for whores.” Meanwhile, Stanbury is excited, Talin is nervous, and Lisa is getting her hair and makeup done, reminding herself not to call anyone a whore. Then the footage begins to build up the drama that lies ahead. As these scenes and lyrics prove, this encounter will be a festival of blood and love, as evidenced by the glamorous ladies of Dubai in red.

Ayan takes the stage first. Host Andy Cohen smiles as he surveys Ayan’s ensemble. “You’re so humble,” he jokes. He helps her move the train of her dress so she can sit down.

But when the cameras cut to Andy under her tail. It’s now his comfort blanket because he’s such an attentive and intelligent king. Stanbury walks in and laughs. As Andy takes off Ian’s cloak, Stanbury comments on how strange it is that she and Ian are sitting on the same side of the couch, and he agrees.

Talyn joins them on their side of the couch while Sarah, Brooks and Lisa sit on the other side. Ian laughs as a 3, 2, 1 countdown goes off in the sky. Once the broadcast light comes on, Andy addresses their group, which is reminiscent of Beyoncé’s famous Dubai concert. Andy thinks they all got great seats, but Ian jokingly disagrees.

Andy briefly touches on the rift between Talyn and Brooks. He also asks for an update on Ian and Lisa’s friendship. They are still at odds. Ian is saddened by this, as she misses Lisa’s children, and it’s unfortunate that their rift has also affected their spouses, who no longer have “real” contact with each other.

Andy hates this, so he asks, “Can we set an intention to end the day in a better place than you are now?” Lisa and Ian both agree.

Stanbury and Ian reflect on their friendship, while Brooks, Lisa, and Talyn also share.

In season one, Stanbury and Ian fight. In season two, they put their differences aside and become the sarcastic power couple I dreamed of. Ian explains that their friendship began after the season one reunion. They were stuck on a plane together for 16 hours, so they had a few drinks and talked about things.

Andy then turns to Lisa, asking if Ian had told her about the drinks they had together and the renewal of the relationship in real time. Lisa says no. But other times, Ian would sweetly talk to her about Stanbury, and Lisa would “always accept it.”

When Talyn was introduced to the group, Andy asked who was most upset by Stanbury and Ian’s friendship. Talyn answered Lisa, but she also thought Brooks “would love to see Lisa’s friendship with Ian go away.” “I don’t care about that [Stanbury and Ayan’s friendship]Brooks says jokingly:

Talyn asks sarcastically, “Really?” Brooks interrupts, confirming that Andy was just talking to her. Brooks then mentions that she found Lisa and Iain’s argument funny, but after seeing how emotionally affected Iain was, Brooks went out of her way to try to get her and Lisa back together. Lisa interrupts, saying that she had no problem with Stanbury and Iain being friends, but Iain laughs, indicating that she doesn’t believe Lisa.

Andy doesn’t take it well either. He recalls how Lisa described Stanbury and Ian as a hopeless couple on Watch What Happens Live. Lisa owns up to her earlier statement, but then blames Ian, explaining that she has text messages that show Ian was feeling “uncomfortable” in the early days of her and Stanbury’s renewed relationship.

Lisa hands her phone to Andy. He reads her text messages aloud to Ian. Ian says those statements were a long time ago, and then all hell breaks loose.

Ayan wonders why Lisa is trying to use this old news against her. Lisa replies, “Oh, look at yourself. Are you a professional victim? You’re not the villain, you’re the victim.”

Her remarks anger Ian. Stanbury notices this and tries to encourage Ian to calm down. But Ian can’t, insisting that victim is the worst thing Lisa could say about her. Lisa doesn’t care much, calling Ian a victim again, while Andy moves on to the next topic, knowing full well that this will lead nowhere.

Andy asks Ian how old she really is, and Ian replies that she’s probably over 50. Lisa replies, “She looks her age,” to which Sarah replies that Ian looks young. As for Stanbury, she’s 48. Brooks then admits that Stanbury’s facelift makes her look younger, to which Lisa replies, “She looks fine.”

After we moved to the Ian Beauty launch, Brooks began to acknowledge Ian’s business partner, while simultaneously making fun of Ian. “I don’t think that was rude of me,” Brooks began, before Talyn interrupted, pointing out that Brooks’s disparaging of Ian was bad. “Shut up, you motherfucker,” Brooks responded.

The story changed again, and Andy praised Ayaan for speaking out about her experiences with FGM at the age of five. Ayaan began to cry, saying that when the episode aired, she fell into a deep depression. Ayaan faced all sorts of jokes and bullying from her community. The backlash was tragic for Ayaan, who was just trying to raise awareness of this unethical practice in her home country.

“I don’t want to be attacked. I’m trying to save young girls,” Ayan said through tears. Her positive attitude toward her past traumatic experiences is one reason she hates being called a victim.

Ayan’s tears do nothing to stop Lisa’s anger. She still thinks that Ayan is completely playing the victim. Ayan gets angry, and declares that everyone in this room knows how much Ayan loved Lisa once, but Lisa quickly silences her, saying that her love is not what is currently raising suspicions. “My problems with her [points at Stanbury] Stop because I was defending you [points at Ayan]”Lisa says.”

Stanbury is furious, and tells Lisa that Lisa never loved her anyway. Lisa says, “That’s not true.” Talin then asks Lisa, “Are you going to cry?” Lisa calmly replies no, while Ian returns to work, confirming that “Ozembeke always cries.”

Without missing a beat, Lisa asks, “Ozempic, who introduced me to you? I was there.” In response, Ian lets out a loud, funny squeal as Brooks whispers to Lisa, “Ian is the one doing the best he can.”

Then Andy talks about Caroline’s fight. Flashbacks are shown. These scenes show Stanbury constantly joking with Talyn about her vagina-exposing stunt in front of Beyoncé, which Brooks often brought up in Season 2. Talyn gets over her vagina story, but Brooks can’t, as she remembers Talyn crying and trying hard to hug her friend.

In Season 2, Brooks embarks on a therapy journey. “I tried to sue the therapist,” Stanbury jokes, and Ian agrees, pointing out that Brooks asked for her money back. “Only Brooks would sue the therapist,” suggests Talyn, to which Andy effortlessly points out that a refund and a lawsuit are two entirely different things.

Midway through season two, Brooks reveals that Stanbury has a boyfriend, Michael, who loves her very much. Stanbury talks to Michael about it. He makes a bad joke, but Brooks doesn’t believe it. Stanbury doesn’t care because she knows she works hard for everything she has.

As for how Brooks makes money, Stanbury says Brooks works hard, but she “deals with men.” Brooks is disgusted, but Talin recalls Brooks bragging about the men who buy her stuff, including one who looks like Shrek. Brooks insists she never slept with the man, and that he never bought her anything.

Talyn then reveals that Brooks wanted her to join the show, which was targeting the same women Brooks hated. Brooks says Talyn asked the cast to tell her if anyone talked badly about her. They both deny the other’s claims.

Talyn is still angry that Brooks called her a beggar, and Brooks feels that Talyn has no loyalty. As for Stanbury, she is still upset that Brooks invited a guest to her dinner party. However, Talyn apologizes for criticizing Brooks for not having a husband.

The couple then argues over whether or not Talynn’s husband, Ravi, yelled at Brooks during the dinner party. Ravi and Brooks have been close for years, but she says this is their first real fight. Talynn disagrees, calling Brooks a “pathological liar” as the first part of RHODubai’s second season comes to a close.

Can someone check on Andy? Our son looks stressed.
