The second Fyre Festival will include: "very expensive" Cheese sandwiches

Prepare for a cheese sandwich fest like you’ve never seen before.

The founder was not only Billy McFarlandAmerican rapper John Cena, whose 2017 attempt at a luxury music festival in the Bahamas ended in jail on wire fraud charges, has confirmed he will attempt a second run next year. Fyre Festival II will feature a revival of one of the most popular elements of the ill-fated festival.

“We’re going to have cheeseburgers,” he joked to NBC News in an interview published on September 9. “And they’re going to be expensive, too. And we’re going to do them really well. I think they’re going to be the most expensive thing to eat.”

As for the new festival, which will take place in April 2025 on a privately owned island off the coast of Mexico, he plans to capitalize on the drama of the first festival — but with a very different outcome in hopes that the festival will be a success.

“We have the opportunity to embrace this storm and really steer our ship through all the chaos that’s happened, and if that’s done well, I think Fyre has a chance to be this annual festival that really dominates the festival industry,” he explained.
