The remains of the alleged Miss Switzerland "mashed" In the blender by
Authorities shed light on shocking death of Miss Switzerland candidate Kristina Joksimovic.
The 38-year-old woman was found dead in her Swiss home in February, and her 41-year-old husband has been arrested on suspicion of her murder, according to the BBC.
In a recently released autopsy report, investigators said Joksimovic was strangled before her body was dismembered in the laundry room using an electric wood chipper, a knife and garden shears, according to local news agency BZ Basel.
The report said her remains were then “mashed” using a hand blender, before being dissolved in a chemical solution.
A federal court said Joksimovic’s husband, who has not been named, confessed to investigators in March that he killed the model, according to the BZ Basel newspaper. The confession came after a forensic report contradicted his previous claim that he acted in self-defense and dismembered Joksimovic’s body “in a panic,” according to the newspaper.
In the ruling, prosecutors said the suspect showed a “remarkably high level of criminal energy, lack of empathy and cold-bloodedness” after the death of Miss World.
