Friendship/rivalry on and off again between Karen Huger and Giselle Bryant It is, in many respects, the basic relationship between The Real Housewives of Potomac. In the Season 9 premiere, Gizelle gushed about their long friendship when she talked about Karen’s DUI. And Karen threw a “hattitude” birthday party. She also tried to get to the bottom of things and called a non-alcoholic drink “Grand Dame,” which upset Karen. While this may test their friendship, we have the rest of the season to see how things play out. As we know, these two have been through it all. This feud was raging from the beginning! The first episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac centered around a fight between Karen and Gisele. Personally, this is probably my pick for the best Real Housewives moment of all time. In Season 3, Karen and Gisele bicker over the latter’s love life, a recurring point of contention. But this time, the argument was interrupted by a mime sent by Monique Samuels inviting them to the actors’ trip. When Karen called Gisele a clown, Reasonable Shady podcast host pointed to the man who ruined their lunch and said, “No, that’s the clown.”
Karen, convinced that the mime just wanted time in front of the camera, called security. Giselle burst out laughing before shouting, “No, sir!” When the mime approached her. “Now you want safety, don’t you, Giselle?” Karen said as she walked away. Giselle declared that their battle was not over yet. In fact, they will continue to clash during the flight, without any mime interrupting them.

The feud was already on another level during season three. Gisele showed up at Karen’s press conference (sans press) wearing a T-shirt that read #GODBLESSTHEHUGERS. Karen called the conference to answer questions about the tax problems she and her husband, Ray Huger, are facing. In typical Karen fashion, there was a lot of deflection, denial and “I can’t answer that” responses. Giselle was tired of Karen’s non-answers, so she backed off and then decided she had enough. In the first outing of the season, Giselle was looking for an apology from Karen, but to no avail. instead of, Karen She wanted an apology for a questionable confession four years ago, which she interpreted as Giselle’s death wish for Ray. Gisele flatly denied it, and to prove it, she said one of her funniest lines ever: “I want Ray to live! I want him to pay his bills!”

A lot of people on the show were concerned when Gisele rekindled things with her ex-husband, Jamal Bryant.
