The Golden Bachelorette is finally in full swing, with two episodes already under way

Golden Bachelorette The series is finally in full swing, with two episodes already aired. Joan Vassos does a fantastic job as the leading lady and has already made many strong connections. After two rose ceremonies, the Goans now number fourteen men. After success Golden BachelorViewers have been waiting for The Golden Bachelorette for almost a year. So far, Joan’s season has certainly not let them down. The historic first season of The Golden Bachelorette was full of laughter, happiness, and of course, a few tears here and there.

Speaking of The Golden Bachelor, it should be noted that The Golden Bachelor actually has an advantage over its counterparts from the series. Although Jerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor was a huge success last fall, it wasn’t without its missteps. There are already many signs that Joan’s season is becoming more successful, as well as more enjoyable overall. Here are three reasons why we’re sure The Golden Bachelor will be better than The Golden Bachelor.

Maybe Joan won’t repeat Jerry’s mistakes

While Jerry’s season was fun to watch, the ending was poor. Jerry made some controversial moves once he got down to the final two women, Teresa Nest and Leslie Fahima. Originally, it seemed like Jerry was going to choose Leslie. During his last date with Teresa, Jerry admitted that he wondered what Leslie was doing. Understandably, it came as a shock to viewers when Jerry later admitted to Leslie that he had fallen in love with Teresa and was planning to propose to her.

But Jerry’s bad decisions didn’t end there. After getting engaged to Teresa, Jerry announced that the couple plans to get married as soon as possible. Just a few months after the season finished airing, Jerry and Teresa were married in a golden, televised wedding. Unfortunately, the happiness was short-lived, as the former couple revealed their plans to divorce after just three months. The main reason for the divorce was their location, as neither Jerry nor Teresa was willing to move.

On the other hand, it doesn’t look like Joan will make the same reckless mistakes that Jerry did. Joan really seems to know what she wants, so it would be surprising if she could ignore someone like Jerry did with Leslie. Furthermore, Joan will likely learn from Jerry’s experience and not rush into marriage. As a result, hopefully her season will have a more positive ending.

Men are more fun to watch than women

There I said it. In regular seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, it’s always a little more fun watching the men interact as opposed to the women. There’s something very funny about watching grown men argue, especially over such silly things. The same goes for The Golden Bachelorette. While the only thing the guys have argued about so far is how to barbecue, it’s rewarding to watch the top guys befriend each other in such an unusual environment.

What’s more, even though The Golden Bachelorette is only two episodes long, several cast members have already made an impression. Charles Ling won the hearts of viewers with his jokes and originality, as well as his love for palace cuisine! Another notable contestant this season is Pascal Ebegwe, who owns a hair salon in Chicago. During the barbecue, Pascal made the funny move of taking Joan upstairs to show off his wardrobe. These are just things that would never happen on the original Bachelorette.

Finally, The Golden Bachelorette features a contestant who was a fan favorite long before he first appeared on the show. Mark Anderson is the father of Kelsey Anderson, who won The Bachelor season 28. Viewers started calling Mark to be the golden Bachelor after his appearance in his hometown, because they loved his energy. An outstanding contestant like Mark makes a great season even more fun to watch.

While the women on The Golden Bachelor were by no means bad, they weren’t as creative as the men on The Golden Bachelorette.

Dates on The Golden Bachelorette are actually better than they were on The Golden Bachelor

Cast members are always the most important part of any season of The Bachelor but dates play a role too. During the coronavirus seasons, for example, some dates were difficult to watch because they were very low-budget and were confined to where the actors were staying. This made viewers appreciate the magic of the regular seasons, where the actors often travel and go on extravagant dates.

Jerry’s season was not a coronavirus season but some of his dates were lackluster. For example, women participated in activities such as pickleball and taking photos for group dates. While these are fine in moderation, it seems like every group date of the season didn’t put a lot of effort into it. None of the one-on-one dates stood out either, as they were all simple everyday activities seen on the show before.

On the other hand, Joan’s season did have some unique dates. Her first group date of the season was the Senior Prom, which seemed about right. It wasn’t low budget either, as Joan and the guys went to an actual high school and joined the students. This event also had live music from Taylor Dayne! However, the highlight of the episode was Joan’s one-on-one date with Chuck Chapel. Surprise Joanne Chuck with a day at Disneyland, it doesn’t get much better than that!
