The franchise that started it all, The Real Housewives of Orange County, is back for Season 18, and fans are in for a treat. Last season showed Shannon Beador and her relationship with Jon Janssen on the rocks. The season also showed Heather Dubrow feeling very neglected after Vicki Gunvalson returned as a friend of. Not only was Fancy Pants upset, she also sold her OC mansion for a record-breaking big deal. So, with Season 17 in the rearview mirror, we’re now ready for an amazing Season 18!

Season 18 fire

“This season may be the best season yet,” the Bravo leader claimed. Now, we hear a lot of these sentiments from Andy Cohen every season, but the man doesn’t lie. As we enter the 100th season of Real Housewives, fans are anticipating the series to be a hit.

she is back…

The last time the mother of three appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County was in season eight. Alexis Bellino first appeared during Season 5 and was quickly dubbed “Jesus Jugs” by Tamra Judge. Although she won’t be getting an orange for Season 18, she did return as a “friend” just to mix things up. Alexis brings the drama as she is currently dating Shannon’s ex-boyfriend. John was spotted with the former housewife shortly after his split, causing quite a stir.

Naturally, fans can assume that Shannon was not happy with this development. We might get Shannon from Season 12 when she lost her emotions, cried over her three layers of Spanx, and screamed at everyone. These are the best days to come in our lives; I can feel it.

Shannon’s DUI

As many Real Housewives of Orange County fans know, Shannon found herself in major trouble in September when it was revealed that she had been charged with DUI. After a night out at one of her favorite spots, The Quiet Woman. Video footage showed the mother of three making a wide turn and falling down the front stoop. Shannon was then seen trying to get out of her car with her dog Archie and walking away as if she was going for her daily doggy walk. Shannon’s blood alcohol level was 0.24, three times the legal limit.

The 59-year-old was sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service. Shannon is also required to complete a nine-month alcohol program. No doubt Bravo cameras caught the fallout from her DUI. Once again, it looks like Season 18 will be a much-needed redemption arc for Shannon.

Heather and Tamra are friends

Season 18 will show Tamra and Heather joined at the hip. This probably means more revelry and champagne than usual. Heather recently took to her TikTok to share inside information about the upcoming season. “All I can say is we finished filming a few weeks ago, and usually after we finish filming, we have to do like the confessionals we do? We usually have to wrap that up,” the mother of four noted.

“The show starts airing, then you hit, then you do the reunion, everything,” Heather noted. But “a few more things happened” after filming. This breadcrumb tells fans that something big is happening. “It was so crazy that they brought the camera back” and resumed filming “last weekend,” Heather added. Now every ounce of me is hoping John gets down on one knee and proposes to Alexis because that would be bananas!

Jennifer needs damage control for Brian

Let’s be honest: No one was really impressed with Ryan Boyagan. He was introduced to fans as a friend of newcomer Jennifer Pedrante, but felt like a snake oil salesman. So, when news broke that a serial cheater was involved in a very big gambling racket, you know there had to be Bravo cameras there. In May, Ryan was linked to a $16 million scheme involving MLB player Shohei Ohtani. At the time, the story was all over the news.

The feds learned that Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Ibei Mizuhara’s translator had been stealing from the star for the past two years. The money was then allegedly used to pay off gambling debts that Ippei had acquired through illegal sports betting.

Insiders told ESPN that Ryan was an associate of the bookkeeper who allegedly worked with Ippei to transfer the money. ESPN has learned that the illegal betting company was under investigation. Matthew Boyer asked the translator to transfer the money to “Assistant 1,” which was Ryan. Matthew and Ryan then used the money for their real estate ventures. There’s no way Jane can make Ryan seem redeemable this season. There’s just no way!
