The Bachelorette season 21 is right around the corner, and fans are ready for it

And the bachelorette Season 21 is right around the corner, and fans are ready to watch leading lady Jen Tran find love. While there are still a few weeks left until Jane’s season, several promos have been dropped to promote her journey for love. Every time a new season of The Bachelor drops, it’s hard not to compare it to the previous season. Over the past few years, some Bachelorette promotions have succeeded, while others have failed.

Lawson Charitable Foundation – Best

Charity Lawson led The Bachelorette season 20, which aired in the summer of 2023. Charity’s promo was classic yet elegant, making it one of the best recent Bachelorette promos. For her promo, Charity wore a red dress that matched the walls of red roses on either side of her. There were also some pink roses spread around, which helped give the promo an extra pop of colour.

Roses, of course, pay tribute to the show, and the roses are distributed by the champions to the contestants. Placing roses on the walls on either side of Charity was more creative than just holding them on her, as other promotions have done in the past. Overall, Charity’s promo photo was amazing and really helped build excitement for her season.

Michelle Young – The best

Michelle Young searched for love during The Bachelor season 18, which aired in the fall of 2021. From the jump, it was clear that production did their homework with Michelle’s season. Michelle had one of the most eye-catching promo posters in The Bachelorette history, which immediately caught viewers’ attention.

While Bachelorette promos usually depict the lead from a distance, Michelle’s promo showed a close-up. Michelle looked stunning as she smiled among a frame of flowers, including roses. Although you can’t see much of Michelle’s outfit, her gold dress and white and pink earrings match the color scheme perfectly. Finally, the slogan “Love in Bloom” worked perfectly with the theme of Michelle’s promo.

Tayshia Adams – Best

Tayshia Adams took over The Bachelorette Season 16, replacing Clare Crawley as the lead. This was the first Bachelor Nation, as fans originally expected Clare to complete the season. However, this last-minute change provided viewers with one of the best promos in Bachelor history.

In the promotional poster, Tayshia smiles in front of a series of news headlines discussing her being the new Bachelorette. Tayshia wore a bright blue dress that was completed with a skirt that matched the news headlines in the background. The tagline “Rumors end now” is quite apt, as there have been many rumors about who will take over for Claire. Tayshia’s promo was very creative and really captured the excitement of her season.

Katie Thurston – The Worst

Despite the hype surrounding Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, her promo was painfully basic. Katie led The Bachelor season 17, which aired just before Michelle’s season. The difference in promotions was evident, and it was clear that the production put more effort into promoting Michelle’s season.

In her promotional poster, Katie sits and smiles at the camera while holding a rose. She was wearing a simple white tank top and leather skirt instead of a dress. There’s nothing in Katie’s promo that pays tribute to her season, which made it bland. Moreover, the slogan “See what all the hype is about” didn’t add much either. Unfortunately, the production team botched Katie’s promo, and she deserves better.

Jin Tran – The worst

Jen’s promo also fell below par, and it seemed very random. The promotional poster shows Jane sitting inside a large arcade game, with several stuffed dolls and hearts spread out as prizes. Jane herself sits on the handle that usually draws prizes from the game, wearing a red dress while holding a fake rose.

While Jane looks stunning in the poster and is dressed to the nines, the concept is weird. The plush dolls that are supposed to be her suitors look rather cheap, which takes away from the trailer. Furthermore, the trailer doesn’t reveal much about Jenn or her character at all. After several seasons of more creative promotions, the production team could have done much better with this show.
