The 33rd season of Dancing with the Stars has started off great. A total of 13 episodes have been aired.

Season 33 of Dancing with the stars The competition is off to a great start. Thirteen celebrities are competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Award. The cast includes a diverse group of athletes, actors, and Olympians. And of course, the infamous con artist Anna Delvey. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough have their rackets ready. Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are back on the dance floor.

The DWTS premiere features contestants dancing to their own songs. It’s a fun theme! Many of the performances were impressive, while a few contestants struggled to find their footing. Overall, the scores seemed a little higher than usual for the first night of competition. While there may have been a few standouts, most of the participants put in strong performances. It looks like we’re in for a great season, guys!

No one was eliminated on the first night of season 33 of Dancing with the Stars!

This is a departure from the past two seasons when a contestant was evicted after their first lap around the ballroom. I was surprised that the show chose to forgo elimination. This means that this week’s results will be combined with next week’s.

However, this means that next week, two stars will be sent home in a double elimination. How brutal! And next week’s theme is expected to be a good one. The show will celebrate award-winning movie songs during Oscar night. However, there’s nothing like a double elimination to up the ante.

Actor Eric Roberts and Brett Stewart, Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov, Reginald Veljohnson and pro Emma Slater have had a rough start. They’ve been at the bottom of the leaderboard. However, I can never say never, and their fans can help them get through it.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong She got the highest score on Dancing with the Stars Season 33, Episode 1..

Actress Chandler and her partner Brandon electrified the audience with their tango. They danced to Chappelle Rowan’s song “Hot to Go!” Chandler has dancing experience, but no ballroom dancing experience.

Their performance was bright and fun. Bruno told the duo, “I’ve been doing this show for a very long time. Oh my God. It was one of the best shows.”

Carrie Ann also praised Chandler and Brandon, saying, “You set the standard for season 33. That’s the standard we want to see. You’re amazing dancers. Let’s go! I want more.”

For his part, Derek explained the song’s title through his impression of Chappelle’s dance. He said, “I mean, if this is the beginning, I’m scared to see what you have next because you have so much potential. You’re a superstar.”

Oh, how amazing! Looks like we may have a frontrunner. Chandler and Brandon got 23 of the 30 votes.

  • Reginald Veljohnson and Emma Slater (salsa) – 16 points
  • Eric Roberts and Brett Stewart (Cha Cha) – 15 points

I loved Ilona and Alan’s fun and playful cha cha. She was clearly nervous, but she gave a strong performance. I was also pleasantly surprised by Joy and Gina’s country-themed cha cha.

And of course, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks and Val give a rousing performance as Cha Cha. She’s a really good actress, and they have great chemistry. Her goal is to make it to the finals, and she just might make it.

But my favorite performance of all time was Stephen and Riley’s performance of Jeff’s dance. The “Horse Man” brought so much energy and character. I enjoyed every second of it. The couple has such a great relationship.

As for Anna and her dazzling sports bracelet, Carrie Ann took the time to talk about Anna. “I just want to say something,” Carrie Ann said. “When you walked out on the dance floor, there was a shift in the energy in this room. And I just want to say, ‘Let’s all give this a chance,’ because I can imagine that’s scary for you. And I’m not for or against anything… but this is about you dancing here.”

Final Thoughts on Dancing with the Stars Season 33, Episode 1

Season 33 of DWTS has already begun. I loved the opening number with all the pros and the dance troupe. This dynamic dance was choreographed by Jamal Sims. I want to give a special shoutout to Whitney for returning to the dance floor, and Ezra for being the newest pro!

Now, on to next week’s elimination. I feel like Anna and Eric might be in danger of going home next week. In Anna’s case, she barely got any applause when she and Ezra finished their performance.

While Chandler seems to have an early advantage (alliteration), I think some contestants could challenge her for the Mirrorball title. Plus, I love how some contestants spread joy and entertain the audience. Dwight and Danielle, Phaedra and Val, and Stephen and Riley brought a lot of character and got the audience excited. Of course, Chandler also got the audience excited with her amazing tango.

Ultimately, I agree with Derek. If this is just the first week of season 33, we’re in for a wild ride.
