Thanks to the long-running success of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we have

Thanks to long-term success The Real Housewives of New JerseyWe’ve seen many of the Garden State kids grow up before our eyes. Fans have watched Melania Giudice call her father a “troll.” The Manzo kids have played ham, Yes, the judge She sang “Waking Up in the Morning.” Gia, now 23, has always been vocal about her mother, Teresa Giudice’s, stance on the show. But lately, the Rutgers University graduate has been interfering in adult table conversations. And it’s been annoying viewers.

Honestly, the Gen Z TV star should leave the filming to the adults. Don’t get me wrong, watching Gia as a kid was great, but her time has come and gone. Teresa has been fine without her daughter’s input for over a decade. The cast is very capable of continuing their story without Gia trying to be a “how to” guide. The older women are mothers and business owners and have lived much longer lives than Gia, so it feels unbalanced when the aspiring lawyer shows up.

I’m starting to feel like Teresa is using her daughter as a safety blanket in scenes. Too often, I’ll see Gia shushing her mother during conversations. The older daughter will interrupt the original mother’s speech and I’ll see Trey look to her daughter for guidance on what to say. I literally don’t think I can stand the next generation. I don’t want the kids of the Housewives to be the next Housewives.

Every time I see Gia on the show, she’s trying her best to be part of the drama. I can’t help but feel like she’s constantly auditioning to be the next Teresa. In my opinion, Gia needs to stop interfering in adult affairs. As a loyal viewer and fan, I feel like she’s just getting involved in the drama for the sake of it, even though she’s not a housewife. There’s no doubt that the eldest daughter of Giudice is turning the drama on and off in front of the cameras. I understand that she’s a legal adult, so it’s natural for her to stand up for herself, but this is too much.

I can see where Bravo is headed. The network has been trying to slowly introduce Gia since they gave her and some of the other Bravo kids a chance on a show called Making It in Manhattan. But honestly, it’s a show no one asked for. And do these silver-spoon kids really succeed when they have all the connections? The answer is no. I don’t want to feel like Bravo is forcing Gia or the others on me. I’ve come so close to forgetting about her mother that I don’t need any more fuel to light the fire.

On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey , I found myself cringing as Jennifer Fessler, a 53-year-old woman, explained herself to a child. Like, what’s wrong with this picture? It looked like Jennifer was about to kiss a ring. She realizes that Gia isn’t royalty, right? The conversation about Teresa and the Voda family was far from kid-friendly, so again, I ask why Gia is there. Doesn’t she have a frat party to attend?

Even Aunt Melissa Gorga thought Gia’s portrayal was weird. The Envy owner and Gia’s estranged aunt remarked, “She’s a child; why are you talking to a child about adult conversations? It’s so weird for a child to be equal—that’s so weird.” Personally, the way Gia snapped at Melissa in Season 12 was enough for me. At the time, I couldn’t figure out if it was just her tone or her demeanor or if she had truly been raised to disrespect others, but the way Gia looked Melissa in the eye was enough for me to never speak to my niece again.

So please, Bravo, do your fans a favor and refrain from scenes that focus on Gia. We don’t listen to her comments.
