Tensions remain at an all-time high between Jennifer and Gina in Real Madrid

Tensions remain at an all-time high between Jennifer and Gina. The Real Housewives of Orange CountyLast week’s episode ended with Gina lashing out at the mother of five for essentially becoming an occupier of a million-dollar mansion. This week’s episode, titled “Red Flags and Football,” will give the ladies a chance to show their aggression on the field. Shannon will have to deal with the fact that Alexis is taking over everything she’s ever loved, except for David Beador. And Gina will have to follow through on her difficult decision to ask Travis to vacate their shared home. Here’s a recap of episode 3 of season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County.

Jennifer doesn’t understand the meaning of team spirit and brings hostility to the field. Instead of adorning her team’s jersey, known as “Team Love,” she spends every ounce of her energy badmouthing Gina. The message is clear: Don’t rent a house you can’t afford.

The moms go to round two, where Jane admits she had no control over her finances and no credit card in her name. She says Ryan took over her $24,000 in debt and loaned her his car. I see warning signs everywhere about this scheme. I don’t need to be a psychologist to know this isn’t going to end well.

On the other hand, Gina revealed that she will make Travis move out. Ha Financial security. Jenna explains that Travis is moving out on his own because they’re both devastated by the divorce, and she doesn’t want to make a bad financial decision. But for our sleuth Tammy Sue, the math isn’t just math. She points out that she doesn’t know anyone who was together for four years and then moved out on their own. The whole situation has left Jenna and her fans feeling very unsettled.

Emily thinks a sporting event is a good idea for these aggressive women. “Let’s just hit each other and go,” the mom of three jokes. Honestly, she’s not wrong. Leave it to Heather to show up on the beach in a fur coat. Flag on the game! Luckily, she’s just a referee. Unfortunately, there’s no designer referee shirt, but there is a whistle.

It’s exhausting to watch Jen show up all dressed up and not realize what she did to Gina was wrong. As we all know, Gina is a relatively new realtor who had done something for her friend. Instead of being grateful that she didn’t have to take a credit check, she was going to fail; Jen doubled down while playing soccer. “At the end of the day, Gina was a woman who lived in a small house and I thought she would understand,” she told the group. “I never knew what fear or stress was. This is a new place for me,” Jen laments. Honestly, the privilege this woman has had is beyond my comprehension.

Jenna, who is very sympathetic to Jane, says she’s “not here to teach Jane how to not be a jerk anymore.” This makes sense. Also, Shannon’s quarterback uniform isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s great!

Get a new gym

Shannon is horrified that John is taking Alexis to her gym now. I get it. These women live in Orange County. Find another gym! Alexis jokes that she’ll keep going there unless Shannon buys the gym. Despite Shannon’s annoyance, she scores a goal. Scores a goal for our girl! Well, almost. Unfortunately, Alexis catches the flag.

Emily, on the other hand, embraces her love of the gym to the point where it can be a bit obsessive. The attorney notes that she doesn’t like to miss a day of gyming; she often has an “inner battle.” There’s a lot of pressure in Orange County to stay young forever, and it can be a “mental dilemma.” Emily clearly has a fear of falling behind. I appreciate how open Emily is about her struggles. But I wish Emily could be proud of her accomplishments, too.

Episode 3 was more of a filler episode. But perhaps the saddest moment was watching Travis unpack his stuff from the closet. He doesn’t buy the “it’s for the kids” excuse. The guy looks exhausted and downright frustrated. Probably because of the drama his ex-wife is creating. I almost cried when he told Gina that they’ve gone from “a single family unit to something like adult dating.” The episode ends with Gina waving her man away, wondering if she’s made a huge mistake.

Real Housewives of Orange County continues Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
