The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 is almost here. After Season 17 generated so much discussion online, we knew Season 18 would follow quickly. But a lot has changed since the final episode of Season 17.
While Season 17 mostly revolved around the awkward feud between Tamra Judge and Jennifer Pedrante, Tamra has had some unexpected splits since then. Tres Amigas has officially broken up, leaving Tamra isolated from her exes, Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson. As for the reason for the split, people were quick to point to Alexis Bellino.
Since season 17, Alexis has been dating Shannon’s ex, John Jansen. While Vicki and Shannon were reluctant to share the new relationship, Tamra was okay with it. It was only a matter of time before Alexis secured her spot on the RHOC cast. So what will season 18 hold? See for yourself.
Where does Tamra stand with Jen and Shannon on RHOC season 18?
On July 2, Bravo released the first seven minutes of the season 18 premiere of RHOC. After capturing brief clips of what the girls were up to, cameras caught Tamra and Jen alone in the gym. “I think we’ve moved on from everything that happened between us,” Jen told the cameras.
“I see her for who she is,” she continued. “So keeping her light and easy is exactly what I want to keep with Tamra.” Emily Simpson then joined the duo, discussing her weight loss journey. In a very candid way, she admitted to using “a little bit of Ozempic,” as well as “liposuction on my arms” and “working out at the gym.”
Then the cameras caught Shannon and her daughters. Shannon found herself crying over her drunk driving. She began to cry and said to her daughters, “What kind of role model am I at 59?” In private, Shannon told the cameras that she was at John’s house the night of the accident. She revved her car as loud as she could to let John know she was upset, and subsequently lost control.
Shannon laments all the negative things she’s been through – getting arrested, breaking a bone, getting a concussion, getting a DUI. Meanwhile, Tamra, Emily, and Jen start talking about Shannon. Jen admits that maybe Shannon needed a friend in her circumstances. Meanwhile, Tamra admits that she’s lost respect for Shannon.
The 18th season of Real Housewives of Orange County premieres on Bravo on July 11 at 9/8c.
