Southern Charm alumnus Rodrigo Reyes announces engagement
Rodrigo Reyes Join Season 9 of Southern Magicalong with his new cast mates JT Thomas and Rod Razavi. While Rodrigo may be new to the show, he’s no stranger to the cast. He’s been a longtime friend to many of the group members. We don’t know yet if we’ll be seeing Rodrigo next season, but he has plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Rodrigo Reyes and Tyler Dugas are engaged!
The Queens of Bravo shared Rodrigo’s story on Instagram. Rodrigo and his boyfriend of nearly ten years, Tyler Dugas, were vacationing in Santorini, Greece when Rodrigo proposed. What a romantic spot to pop the question! Rodrigo captioned his photos, “All over the world, with our closest friends…”
He then posted a sweet photo of himself kissing the back of Tyler’s neck. The caption read, “He said yes.” So where did the magical moment take place? Rodrigo got down on one knee at the PK Cocktail Bar, located in the Ipapantis Atlantis Hotel.
A few days ago, Tyler posted a sweet message on Instagram for Rodrigo’s birthday. “40 trips around the world.” [sun] “And 9 of them together. Here’s to more! We love you! @roddy_rey,” Tyler wrote in the caption. Among the photos was a sweet shot of Rodrigo cuddling a dog.
Rodrigo previously shared how he met Tyler. Rodrigo came to South Carolina to visit his girlfriend who was studying at the College of Charleston. The couple eventually broke up. But when she got married, Tyler became her husband’s best friend. “We started dating long distance, and eventually I moved here to be with him,” Rodrigo explained.
The interior designer also fell in love with South Carolina. “It was so different from Arizona,” Rodrigo said. “I fell in love with the contrast between the places.”
