Since the first season of Summer House, Lindsay Hubbard has had her ups and downs

Since the first season of summer house, Lindsay Hubbard She has had her ups and downs when it comes to her personal relationships in the shared vacation home. The PR expert turned social media influencer has never been shy about revealing her true feelings, often going ‘activated’ at the slightest inconvenience. But season 8 showed viewers a new Lindsay. Kind of. A woman was acting excited about marriage and invested in her soon-to-be husband’s future.

The runaway bride

After several Fridays of constant fighting with Carl Radke, Lindsay had had enough. In a very dramatic way, Lindsay exited the house and literally slid through the guard gate to begin walking down Main Street. Not only was Lindsay practicing her walk in an elegant green summer dress, but this was the beginning of Carl being honest about her with his parents. When Lindsay returns, Amanda Patula asks, “Were you walking on the side of the road?” To which Lindsay casually replied: “Yes. And I almost got hit by a mail truck.” Honestly, the delivery was everything as if this was the worst part of her day – watch the clip.

Stepford Wife

As Lindsay and Carl proceeded to have another fight, this time over how to act sensitively, the OG was completely exhausted from the insults. But Lindsay wasn’t innocent of throwing punches at Karl either, let’s be honest. Carl kept saying over and over how he needed Lindsay to be “soft,” meaning she was neither gentle nor supportive. When Lindsay went out of her way to explain that these terms were derogatory, he doubled down, saying that’s what he wanted from his partner. Not one to back down from an argument, Lindsay shut down Carl once and for all, saying, “The word I think you’re looking for is ‘You need a Stepford Wife.’ And I’ll never be that person. You’re asking me to be someone I’m not.”

Lindsay confronts Sharon

Summer House viewers watched as Lindsay did her best to enjoy her special day that was, for once, supposed to be all about her. But she had a monkey on her back and she had to take care of it. Lindsay has just learned that Carl’s parents did not support their union. However, they may have had a reason not to do so. Watching Lindsay ambush Sharon was the highlight of that party for me, but not for many. Instead of taking the private conversation off-screen, Lindsay grabbed the bull by the horns and addressed the problem. Yes, let’s humiliate Sharon on national TV instead! It also didn’t go unnoticed that she gave the photographer a side eye, breaking the fourth wall.

Some viewers felt the move was poor, but I think it was a power play. A power play that may have sidelined Linds in some areas. Keep in mind that Carl’s ex is not Sharon’s responsibility. Lindsay had some inkling that Carl told her a specific version of what happened. Why would it be okay for Carl to have this conversation with his mother and Lindsay only to be spared from doing the same? I mean because I think Carl’s not allowed to talk to his family, according to Lindsay! I was very impressed with how direct the owner of Hubb House was with the entire conversation. It seemed too mature to not fake it and smile.

Reunited Lindsay applauds again

Bravo just dropped a sneak peek at the Summer House reunion, but fans already know it’s going to be great. As Carl mentions that he paid “half of the rent for nine months,” Lindsay interrupts, asking, “Do you want a pat on the back for that?” Because he was still on the lease, so it wasn’t the accomplishment he was making it out to be.

Lindsey had no pampering left

The opening scene of the season finale showed Lindsay and Carl fighting again. This time, Karl raised his voice, and Lindsay walked out of the stage left. While venting to Danielle Oliveira and Gabe Prescod, she said, “I’m done being pampered. This guy and 10 months of rest at home is like he’s trying to think about what he wants to do. And now I don’t have that pampering in me. The pampering is gone. I can’t stand his face now.” ” Girl, you and me both! Thank God Carl had the right mind to end things!
