Nearly five months after her husband’s viral interview, in which he insisted he had no idea who she was before matching her on a dating app, the Olympian has once again slammed the public criticism surrounding their marriage.

“I’ll get to this real quick, the joke wasn’t a joke at all,” Simon wrote on May 19 on Instagram Stories. “Y’all are blatantly disrespectful of my relationship and my husband. So I’m just going to go ahead and say this once. With all due respect, dammit.”

“If you keep commenting or tweeting at me, I will block you,” she continued. “Simple as that. I don’t need to touch the grass or anything else you suggest.”

The athlete concluded her message by thanking the fans. “@Everyone who supports us, we love you all so much,” Simon wrote.

Meanwhile, Green Bay Packers safety shared Simone’s stories on her own page, “If you all go support!!!” He captioned the post. “If you’re not respectful, keep scrolling because fake anger at people you don’t know all from a can of paint is weird behavior.”
