The news of Leslie and David’s separation has been long overdue. They have been considering divorce for years. David actually tried to divorce this lady, but they were able to reconcile before going ahead with it.

The problems between David and Leslie have been escalating over the past few weeks. She has applied for a domestic violence restraining order against him, claiming he has been verbally abusive to her. He has denied all of this and has responded with accusations of blackmail.

According to In Touch, Leslie sent David new divorce papers on September 17, just days after requesting the restraining order. She listed the wedding date as October 15, 2020, and said they separated earlier this month on September 8.

The couple share a 3-year-old daughter named Anna Love Bedore. In the divorce papers, Leslie is asking for primary legal and physical custody. She also wants spousal support. Then, once it’s all over, she wants to drop the Bedore name and revert to her original Cook surname.

Since David had already tried to file for divorce from Leslie in the past, he immediately responded to Leslie’s request. The next day, he responded to her with his position. And you know his lawyers love to see him call.

According to David, he and Leslie didn’t split until September 17. That was about a week after she claimed to, which would have made a big difference to David. He also disagreed with her custody arrangements. He demanded joint legal and physical custody.

David’s response also makes it clear that the two had a prenuptial agreement. He’s asking the court to uphold the agreement, which would see Leslie receive $10,000 a month in alimony. Coincidentally, that’s the same amount he was required to pay Shannon every month after their divorce. The only difference is that he and Shannon were together four times longer and had three children.

Tell us – what do you think of David and Leslie’s divorce? Do you think the court will uphold the prenuptial agreement?
