Dancing with the stars Season 33 has officially begun! Jin Tran He is one of two Bachelor Nation stars competing this season, along with Joey Graziadei. The competition couldn’t come at a better time for Jen, as viewers recently witnessed the heartbreaking finale of her season of The Bachelorette. Jane became engaged to Devin Strader, who later broke off the relationship after filming wrapped. Despite being infatuated with Jane throughout the season, Devin later claimed that he was not in love with her.

Many Bachelor Nation fans were angry with the production after Jane’s season ended. Viewers felt that producers should have done a better background check on Devin, who had previously had a restraining order filed against him. The others were upset that Jen had to sit next to Devin to watch the proposal after everything that happened. Unfortunately, Jane’s bad luck isn’t over yet. Jane and her partner Sasha Farber They received some rather unfair treatment during their first two performances on Dancing with the Stars. That’s why they deserved better.

Jen Tran and Sasha Farber’s Cha Cha seemed to be a little emphasized

On the first night, Jen and Sasha performed Miley Cyrus’ “Cha Cha to Flowers.” The song was a perfect fit for Jane, considering everything she’d been through recently. Jane and Sasha had great chemistry as dance partners and gave a great performance. From the moment she stepped on stage, Jane was glowing and confident. Sasha also did a great job with the choreography, and Jane did a good job with the series of complex steps.

However, when it came time to score, the pair only got 19. That’s not bad for a week’s dance by any means, but it seemed as if Jenn deserved a little higher. Jane had never danced before and her routine wasn’t exactly simple. For example, Jane smoothly performed part of the routine where she slid across the floor as well as some quick movements. At the end of the dance, Jane made a stunning dive that brought her to the ground. While these moves may seem easy, they definitely aren’t!

Jane ended up tied with fellow competitor Phaedra Parks, who also performed the cha cha. This made the recording seem even more unfair, as Phaedra’s choreography was nowhere near as complex as Jane’s. The number 19 seemed right for Vydra, who also performed admirably on the first night. However, for Jane, her dancing should have gotten her somewhere in her twenties.

The tango by Jen Tran and Sasha Farber is definitely emphasized

If Jane’s first dance is emphasized little, her second is greatly emphasized. The second night’s theme was Oscars Night and Jane and Sasha danced the tango to A Little Party Never Killed Nobody from The Great Gatsby. The pair did a really good job, but once again they got a score of 19.

This outcome seemed unfair and many fans online agreed with it. Once again, Sasha put together some amazing choreography for Jane in which she excelled. At one point in the routine, Jane executed a one-handed cartwheel perfectly. This is the kind of thing we usually see only professionals doing! Aside from that, Jane danced a beautiful tango and was perfect with all her moves.

The part that bothered me most about the result was that there was not a single point increase from the previous week. If you watch Jane’s two dances side by side, it’s clear that the second one deserves a higher score. Jane was more confident during the second week and dominated the stage. Every aspect of her performance was an improvement, from her footwork to her facial expressions. Jenn’s Cha Cha is arguably worth higher than 19 but there’s no doubt her tango was worth it.

The judges gave grace to the other contestants but not to Jin Tran

Another frustrating factor in Jane’s second outcome is that she did not receive any blessing due to a technical mishap at the beginning of her dance. At the beginning of the routine, a technical error meant that Jane and Sasha were unable to hear the song. However, Jane did not let that hold her back and executed the starting steps very well. During the criticism, Derek Hough pointed this out, prompting Jen and Sasha to explain what happened.

Jane wasn’t given a break for something she couldn’t control but the other contestants were. The two contestants with the lowest points on the night were Eric Roberts and Reginald Veljohnson. Both men got a 15, although they both got a 6 from Carrie Ann Inaba which is also what she gave to Jane. Despite the limited choreography and not moving much during their routine, Carrie Ann assured both men that she was scoring by taking their older age into account. In the same vein, Carrie Ann should have given the same grace to Jane because her music started late.

Mishaps aside, the fact that Carrie Ann gave Jane the same result as Eric and Reginald is kind of crazy. Jane did a beautiful routine, while Eric and Reginald danced maybe a third of what she did. It’s almost insulting to Gene, who should have at least gotten sevens across the board. Hopefully in the coming weeks Gene will continue to improve and see an increase in results!
