Savannah Chrisley says mum Jolie’s resentment is ‘revenge’

After her mother Julie ChrisleyA federal judge upheld her seven-year prison sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud, and Savannah doubles down on her opinion that the decision was a personal one.

“I truly believe that this judge, everything she did was retaliatory,” the 27-year-old said on the Oct. 1 episode of her show. open Podcast, filmed one day after the September 25 hearing. “It was in retaliation for us exercising our right to appeal and granting a partially successful appeal. And then, yesterday, the judge showed that this was more than just exercising our right to appeal. That was her not liking how honest I was.”

“I’ve had several people come up to me and say, ‘Oh my God, you thought you were the one on trial,'” Savannah continued, referring to her time in the courtroom for the re-sentencing hearing. All because of the way this judge treated me. She was looking at me down the barrel of the gun as she said the words.
