Ryan Srant Coming to Netflix! The real estate mogul has partnered with the streaming service to bring an exciting new series to the platform. Owning Manhattan, which is set to premiere on Friday, June 28, focuses on a group of talented and ambitious agents at Ryan’s New York City Serhant brokerage firm. The series is the first New York City real estate show on the platform.

In the trailer released earlier this month, viewers got a glimpse of the fast-paced lifestyle that characterizes Serhant’s brokerage firm. “If you can’t sell, you can’t be here,” Ryan says in his confessional.

Reality Tea got a chance to chat with Ryan about the series ahead of Friday’s premiere. Here’s all he had to say…

What can viewers expect from Owning Manhattan on Netflix?

In our interview, Ryan teased the dynamic first season, telling us that drama will be abundant.

“[It is] The craziest real estate you’ve ever seen. The most drama I’ve ever seen in a workplace reality TV show. It’s probably the best real estate offer you’ve ever seen.

Viewers got an inside look at one of the show’s luxury properties in the trailer. Ryan brought a group of agents to the “world’s most expensive apartment,” selling it for $250 million. The Bravo star motivated his staff by revealing that the agent who sells the property will get $10 million.

Owning Manhattan is about Ryan going out on his own and creating his own company. We asked him about the benefits and risks of being your own boss.

Although this job may not be easy, it seems natural for the former Bravo star. And the cast of Owning Manhattan didn’t have any kind words for his leadership in our exclusive interview.

“He’s the best person you’ll ever work with,” said agent Chloe Tucker Cain, who has been with Ryan since Serhant’s inception. “I couldn’t have asked for a better principal and teacher.”

What makes someone a successful agent?

Ryan knows the real estate business by heart, so we were curious to know what makes someone successful at selling real estate.
