RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga denies using Ozempic
It seems that famous weight loss shots like Ozempic and The Real Housewives have become a very relatable pair; Just ask Terry Dubrow. However, we can count Melissa Gorga Outside.
During a recent appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show, Melissa claimed she was the “one and only” Ben The Real Housewives of New Jersey The cast does not use Ozempic, a GLP-1 receptor agonist drug originally prescribed to patients with type 2 diabetes that has now become a popular weight loss aid.
Melissa said she doesn’t take Ozempic. It just works “really, really hard.”
Melissa was a guest on a recent episode of Sherri’s show. The topic turned to Ozempic, since Melissa’s colleagues Dolores Catania and Margaret Joseph were guests recently and discussed their use of the drug.
Sheri asked Melissa if she had also turned to Ozempic. Melissa denied it, throwing the entire cast under the bus. “I think I’m the only one in the cast who doesn’t take Ozempic,” she replied.
Melissa added: “I’m training really hard. To each their own. But no, I’m not taking it.”
Joe Gorga was also in attendance, and he and Melissa agreed they were glad Ozempic was helping others “feel good” and “look good.”
In addition to Dolores and Margaret, Runge’s “friend” Jennifer Fessler also admitted to using drugs to lose weight. Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin have been accused of using them, but have not admitted to it.
On the other side of the coin, some RHONJ cast members are strongly against injections.
Last year, Danielle Cabral said people should just “run on the treadmill” instead of using Ozempic.
Jackie Goldschneider, who has been open about her struggle with an eating disorder, once stated that she had no intention of using Ozempic at all.
Rachel Voda didn’t mention Ozempic either way, but her husband John Voda recently lost 50 pounds. He attributed this to liposuction, peptides and hormone replacement therapy.
Teresa probably didn’t like Melissa’s latest insinuations. Once Trey masters the pronunciation of “Ozempic,” her archenemy Melissa better watch out for a snarky retort!
