Reggaeton singer Don Omar shares cancer diagnosis

The “Pobre Diabla” singer said he was diagnosed with cancer while preparing for the second leg of his Return to Reggatón tour.

“Today I will have cancer, but tomorrow I will not have cancer,” Don wrote on Instagram on June 17 in Spanish. “Goodwill is welcomed. See you soon. #f-kcancer.”

The 46-year-old attached a photo of his hospital band from Orlando Health.

Don – his real name William Omar Landron Rivera– He rose to fame in the early 2000s and returned last year with his album King forever and a 20-date tour that was later extended with a further 18 shows.

The return to Reggatón marks Don’s first major endeavor since the Kingdom Tour with Daddy Yankee in 2015. The pair have worked together over the years despite their infamous feud, which ended in December. Following news of his diagnosis, the “Gazolina” singer shared his well wishes. He posted on his Instagram Stories in Spanish, along with a Bible verse, “Forward, warrior!”
