Prince William joins King Charles III and Queen Camilla in Scotland

Prince William He made a royal appearance during the Royal Week.

The Prince of Wales joined King Charles III And Queen Camillaalong with Sophie Duchess of Edinburghto attend the Thistle Ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland on July 3. There, both Camilla and Prince Edward were formally awarded the Order of the Thistle, Scotland’s highest order of chivalry.

According to the BBC, the Order of the Thistle – which is considered a gift from the reigning monarch – is awarded to 16 knights who have made a “special contribution” to national life or held public office, in addition to additional royal knights.

After the ceremony at St Giles’ Cathedral, Camilla and Edward left the service wearing their signature green velvet robes and hats adorned with feathers. William also wore a velvet robe adorned with gold tassels to the service.

But performing his royal duties wasn’t the only time the Prince of Wales has recently stepped out on a trip that was also a family affair.
