Piper Rockell’s mother, Tiffany Smith, will pay $1.85 million in the abuse case

A YouTuber’s legal troubles have reached their peak.

Her 12 million followers For her educational videos and challenges — she agreed to pay $1.85 million in a settlement after 11 teen content creators accused the mother of abuse and exploitation, attorneys for the plaintiffs said, per NBC News.

Piper Rockell & Smith, 43, plus 27 Hunter Hillwho the teens say is Smith’s boyfriend even though he referred to himself as Rockell’s brother on social media and is part of the settlement agreement — were named in a January 2022 complaint by the teens, who alleged they appeared on a 17-year-old girl. Rockelle’s YouTube channel between 2017 and 2020 as part of her “Squad,” according to the complaint obtained by E! news.

The creators claimed they helped promote Rockelle’s channel “at the cost of physical, emotional, and financial harm” to themselves, adding that they suffered “emotional, verbal, physical, and at times sexual abuse by Piper’s mother,” according to the complaint.
