“Owning Manhattan” is Netflix’s latest real estate show. The series that

Owning Manhattan is the newest real estate show on Netflix. The series, which premieres Friday, June 28, follows Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serrant and a talented group of agents at his New York City real estate brokerage. The trailer released earlier this month promised high-stakes luxury real estate and a group of attractive people yelling at each other. What do you want more?

Reality Tea got a chance to chat with the cast of Owning Manhattan about the show, working with Ryan, and more…

What can viewers expect?

Serhant Group talked about what fans can expect from the first season of the long-awaited new series.

“It’s part Selling Sunset, part Succession, part Million Dollar Listing,” agent Jeffrey St. Armand joked, assuring fans there were no dedicated TV moments this season, calling the series “real” and “authentic.”

Agent Jessica Markowski echoed Jeffrey’s comment, telling us the show captures the reality of the New York real estate scene.

“I suspect [viewers] “We can expect realism,” she said. “The nature of the work, the grind, the effort, the hustle. They will experience all that and more.”

Genesis Suero agreed that the series offers an inside look into the business.

“Viewers can expect a lot of luxury real estate, adrenaline, and what it’s like to sell out New York City, especially Manhattan,” she said.

Regarding the drama, the crew confirmed that there was no shortage of dramatic moments during filming.

“Everything you might write in a memoir happened during the shoot,” commercial real estate star Jed Schenker said.

Real estate shows abound these days, especially on Netflix. The platform has released a number of real estate showcases in the past five years, including Selling Sunset, Buying Beverly Hills, and Selling OC. We asked the staff what makes owning a Manhattan so unique.

“Well, I’m into this,” joked customer Tricia Lee. She added that the location of the show makes it special, telling us, “The other thing is that it’s New York. I don’t think it compares to other markets… To me, it’s the center of the world.”

Owning Manhattan is Netflix’s first real estate show set in New York City. The change of scenery is a welcome departure from the platform’s recent California-based shows.

Agent Jordan Marsh also spoke about the uniqueness of the New York market.

“There’s nothing like New York in the entire world, and I think we’re bringing that back to center stage where it deserves to be,” he said.

Jade attributed the special sauce of the show to Ryan’s vision for his company and agents.

“I think one of the things Ryan said [has] “Created is a company that understands how to market something,” she said. “The agents he chooses are strong. We understand how to market things. Not just by making a video, but by understanding the demographic. We will understand people and we will convince them.” [people] “To buy this property.”

What’s it like working with Ryan?

Ryan’s reputation speaks for itself. He’s one of the world’s most successful real estate brokers, selling some of the most impressive properties on the market. We asked the team to share what it’s like to work for a real estate mogul. Several team members gushed about the man in charge, praising him for his hard work and insider knowledge of the business.

“He’s the best person I’ve ever worked with,” agent Chloe Tucker Cain told us. “He’s the type of manager that if you text him, no matter what time of day or night, he responds to everyone in the company. I couldn’t ask for a better manager and mentor.”

Jordan also shared some kind words about Ryan, saying: “Ryan Serhant is the hardest working man in real estate. [is] Someone who lives by the hour and keeps his promises. [He] Just really thinks outside the box.

Reality TV is all about drama, so naturally, we had to ask the cast which co-stars were the hottest this season.

“Drama-wise, you can always count on Chloe,” Jonathan Normoyle said. Chloe agreed that she found herself in a lot of drama this season.

“I think it’s me,” she revealed. “I cannot be held responsible for the things I said or did while pregnant.”

Jessica disagreed, giving Jonathan the title of most dramatic.

“I was involved in a bit of drama, but I don’t think I was the most dramatic. I think I was Jonathan,” she said.

Owning Manhattan will premiere on Netflix on Friday, June 28.
