Over the years, the Below Deck Mediterranean world has had its own gallery

over the years, Below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea The universe has had its fair share of temperamental chefs. But love them or hate them, the chef is integral to a yacht’s success. So let’s take a look at each chef so far and who was the best and who didn’t make the cut.

8. Mila Kolomytseva

Mila Kolomytseva, perhaps the worst cook in the history of Below Deck Med, was insufferable. I wanted to root for her as the first chef, but when I saw her making nachos and tacos for the guests, I knew we were in trouble. Mila claimed to be a Cordon Bleu-trained chef, but her extensive use of baking soda in the cake tells a different story. Things got worse on the crew’s night out, with the taxi ride from hell.

“I don’t want my son to grow up and see two men kissing and think this is normal because it’s not normal,” said Mila, who was from Siberia and proudly supported Vladimir Putin. The tension became so intense that deckhand Travis Michalczyk called Mila an “oxygen thief.”

7. Kiko Laurent

In Season 5, Below Deck Med fans met Hendrego “Kiko” Laurent. The chef’s lovable personality and charged charm have won the hearts of viewers. Kiko became fast friends with the crew, which is somewhat unheard of, but he also worked closely with Captain Sandy Yawn. Of course, exceeding guests’ expectations. But as the season progressed, Kiko’s confidence in the kitchen faltered. Unhappy guests kept sending back his food because it lacked presentation or taste.

Unfortunately, Captain Sandy had no choice but to fire Kiko. Although he had spent the last ten years working in international cuisine, he was not qualified for yachting.

6. Matthew Shea

Season 6 introduced viewers to Chef Matthew Shea. He was known for arguing with the crew about anything and everything. Between his run-ins with the stews, the deckhands, and Captain Sandy, the workplace has become toxic. However, guests saw another side of Matthew thanks to his delicious food. He bragged about working for stars like Hugh Jackman and Rupert Murdoch, so he knew how to serve a good-looking dish. However, Matthew suffered from crippling anxiety, which prevented him from even cooking on his first charter flight, which often resulted in uncomfortable dinner service.

5. Tom Checketts

After Kiko was fired midway through season 5, Tom Checketts was brought in. The guy was pretentious, and it was hard to understand why Malia White was dating him at the time. Fans learned that Tom spent nine years in the yachting industry as a head chef. Before that, he worked at some of the most famous restaurants, including one of Gordon Ramsay’s. Even with these high accolades, Time was manic on the boat, often throwing wild tantrums. However, the guests loved his food, but he could only be nicer to his co-workers.

4. David White

I can’t help it, but David White from Season 7 gave me the creeps. Even though he was rated as a high-ranking guest and hired by Captain Sandy to attend her wedding, his crew antics were out of this world. While David couldn’t fake his skills in the kitchen, he also couldn’t figure out how to say no politely. He and Natasha Webb found themselves in a strange dynamic. If David had gotten over his ego, he would have been one of the best chefs, in my opinion, thanks to his love of different cuisines and presentation methods. But his lack of professionalism marred his television appearance.

3. Jack Luby

Cooking eggs should be a prerequisite for any yacht chef, but I’ll let Jacques Loupe slide. The Liverpool native is undoubtedly one of the best chefs to ever grace the Below Deck Med franchise. Jack never faltered with his immense talents and knew what he could do. Jack cooked some great meals and got along with the crew.

2. Adam Glick

Adam Glick was a fan favorite and worked on two Below Deck franchises. While appearing in Season 2 of Below Deck Med, he became involved in a triangle between Malia and bosun Wes Walton. Adam was very passionate about his cooking and often served amazing meals. Adam was arguably one of the best chefs to ever grace the small screen.

1. Ben Robinson

What can I say about Ben Robinson other than that he’s probably my favorite chef in the series? Ben had his own sense of humor that resonated over the boat, along with his quirky laugh. Between his hairstyle and witty one-liners, he became an instant fan favorite. Ben’s eccentric sense of self has helped develop numerous memes after him and made him one of the most beloved chefs in the series. Ben never stumbled in the kitchen, even when he punched a frying pan or two. Even when he was under tremendous pressure, Ben would often take matters into his own hands and serve up some delicious appetizers.
