No one likes to see The Real Housewives of Orange County fighting.

Nobody likes to see The Real Housewives of Orange County Mom and Dad fight. So when? Terry Dubrow and Heather Dubrow In their once-in-a-blue-moon quarrel, viewers feel a little disturbed. The couple has been married for 25 years, which is no easy feat. After being set up on a blind date in 1996 at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica, California, they both knew they were a match made in heaven. This latest fight is just a bump in the road for the couple, who remains one of the most amazing marriages to date.

Heather Dubrow doesn’t agree with being berated on screen

SNEAK PEEK: Heather Dubrow to Terry Dubrow: "Don't Admonish Me on Camera" | RHOC (S18 E12) | Bravo

During Episode 12 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, fans watched the Dubrows go to the doctor. Terry had a deviated septum, which cost his bride her beauty sleep. But before he can undergo surgery, Terry needs an echocardiogram to make sure he’s healthy. While in the waiting room, Heather talks about the night before and the fight she had with Emily Simpson over the ill-fated size 12 black dress. As usual, Terry actively listens to all the drama and often offers some good advice so his wife can move on with the group of ladies. But this time, the power couple seems to be on different sides.

Heather shared that after the last year, she’s been “constant” trying to figure out who her real friends are. Terry, who arguably knows his wife better than anyone, noted, “You have a process you need to go through when you’re challenged with someone. You need to hash it out. Once, twice, three times ad nauseam.” But Heather got defensive, saying, “By the way, we don’t repeat things three times ad nauseam. You’re just being mean now.” The conversation took a left turn when Terry asked, “Well, should I stop talking?” After Heather closed it.

At that moment, even the producers could tell that the scene had become unbearable. Terry continued, “Let’s go. I don’t want to talk about it. When you start talking to me, I don’t want to have a conversation with you.” Before Bravo’s cameras could spot the issues, Heather pulled Terry into a room to have a quick word. Heather told her husband, “You can’t say that. Don’t advise me on camera. Don’t do that. I don’t like it.”

Although the altercation was uncomfortable for some, it showed that Terry and Heather are good communicators. It’s not often that you see a Bravo couple talk about what’s upset them at the moment, let alone watch them talk it through to work out a solution. Terry has never held back when it comes to filming The Real Housewives of Orange County. In fact, he often seems eager to get in front of the cameras and put his wife in the spotlight. They both have a healthy sense of respect for each other and never let their egos get out of control.

Heather and Terry Dubrow are stronger than ever

One argument on reality TV does not lead to divorce. Terry and Heather are a really good, strong unit. Although Heather may want to protect her image on RHOC, the bigger picture is that she’s trying to protect her entire family from any backlash. The scene from this week’s episode may be the best husband and wife scene ever made for reality TV. And I don’t think Terry is being cruel. I think his goal was to point out a flaw in Heather’s character and hopefully address it.

Aside from being reality TV superstars, the couple shares how they have a supportive relationship. This trait was passed on to their four children. Season 18 shows both parents standing by their children, as three of them are part of the LGBTQ community. They both work hard to change stigmas and show love is love. They also said they were grateful because they realized they needed each other early in their courtship. And even if they’re still arguing about silly things, Heather and Terry don’t seem to be a force that can be broken up.

The Real Housewives of Orange County can be streamed on Peacock.
