Nikki Garcia claims that Artem Chigvintsev worked a construction job
Nikki Garcia Shedding some light on her estranged husband Artem Chigvintsev Potential emotional conflicts in a recent lawsuit resulting from an alleged domestic violence incident.
According to former WWE star and Total Bellas Nikki, Artem was angry after he was not asked to return as a pro for season 33 of Dancing with the stars. Nicki also claimed that since he couldn’t find another dance gig right away, he took a construction job.

Nikki recently filed for divorce from Artem following their domestic dispute on August 29. Unfortunately, their 4-year-old son was present during the incident. Both claimed that the other was the primary aggressor.
According to PEOPLE, Nikki was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Artem on October 3. Artem was arrested in Napa, California two weeks ago on charges of causing bodily injury to her husband, but the DA ultimately decided not to file criminal charges.
Nikki revealed in her paperwork that just a week before the domestic incident, Artem found out that he had been “cut from the upcoming season” of DWTS, after competing for 12 seasons. She also explained that “he was unable to find another job as a dancer.”
Nicki hinted that his firing from DWTS and his unsuccessful job search contributed to his alleged anger. He started working a construction job and felt like it was beneath him. Since being cut from Dancing with the Stars, Artem has been getting angrier, exploding at me, and yelling. “We had discussions about his need to control his anger.”
After Nikki filed a temporary restraining order for her, Artem filed one of his own. It was then granted on October 4.
A full hearing is scheduled for Monday on October 21.
