Neither Gayle nor Nathan have made their decision clear in their recent social media activity, but the message is clear.
“R3Kindl3d,” Nathan captioned a photo of the couple engaged in a passionate kiss.
For her part, Gayle posted a photo of herself standing in a swimming pool with her hand extended to hold Nathan, and wrote in a cryptic way: “Whoever finds him has the right.”
At the time of their separation, both Gail and Nathan wanted to keep the door open.
During an episode of Below Deck Med After Show, both parties shared their explanation for why they broke up after the season.
“Mostly, [our time together] “It was really cool,” Gayle said.[But] I think he still has a lot of emotional maturity ahead of him.
“I definitely started to see a different side of him… a little bit of anger and a little bit of stubbornness,” she added.
The separation from the Australian citizen affected Nathan. He said that they stopped communicating once Gayle returned home and that he “started questioning everything”.
“So, I decided it was best to tell Gail, ‘I don’t know if this is going to work out…’” Nathan explained at the time. “Right now, the distance is tough.”
At the time, they both said re-exploring romance was an option. Nathan and Gayle decided to take the bold step.
