Michigan woman eaten by shark on vacation in Indonesia

One woman’s vacation ended in tragedy.

Colin Monfort68, was traveling in Indonesia with friends when she disappeared after becoming separated from her group during a diving trip on September 26. Her remains were found inside the stomach of a shark two weeks later, a family friend said. Rick Sass He confirmed to New York Post.

It is unclear whether Colleen had any medical condition prior to this dive, and her cause of death has not been confirmed at this time.

According to Rick, after he and his wife Kim– who together ran a dive shop for more than 40 years – have examined photos from the dive, spoken with Mike and reviewed data from the dive computer, and are adamant that Colleen was not killed by a shark.
