Melissa and Joe Gorga surprise Rong’s ex-neighbor
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey tense. Most of the actors are either on the team Melissa Gorga Or Team Teresa Giudice. I give props to Dolores Catania for maintaining her status as a friend to both groups.
Well, now it looks like some of the drama and hurt feelings are spilling over to Melissa W Joe Gorga alive. I’m not sure their new neighbors will bring any cannoli. At least not anytime soon.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Cathy and Richie Wakely!
When Teresa decided to “cut cancer” out of her life, she ended her relationship with her cousins, Kathy Wakeley and Rosie Berry. Joe and Melissa supported his sister, thus ending Kathy’s run on RHONJ. But when Cathy’s daughter married, and the Gorgas weren’t there, her son Joseph Wakeley referred to Melissa and Joe as “farm animals.” Melissa responded that the Wakeley family was “a little nervous about her not being on the show any longer.” Later, Joe admitted that he missed Rosie, as they were close growing up. But he wasn’t a big fan of Cathy’s husband, Richie Wakeley.
So, when Melissa was a guest on Jeff Lewis Live on Sirius XM, she was asked about her current relationship with Cathy. “I have a funny story for you actually about this. She and Richie just bought a lot on my street across the street from me and they’re building a diagonal house across the street from me on my street, literally,” Melissa said. RHONJ viewers are familiar with Melissa’s dream home Which they built in the Franklin Lakes area.
“It’s funny that everyone moved to the street I lived on. I lived on the other street first too, and then, you know, my sister-in-law moved down the street,” Melissa explained. “And now I’m on this street and now Kathy’s moving across the street.”
As for repairing the cousin relationship? Melissa hopes that happens. “I also secretly hope that one day Joe and Cathy will walk down the street and bump into each other. Because at the end of the day, Cathy is a good person. “I think he regrets it,” the store owner said. “You know, he did what he had to do in That time to support his sister. But I really think he enjoyed Cathy. Cathy was a good cousin to him.
“We’re all about family and spoiling the show. This has nothing to do with the show,” Melissa continued. “It’s really about Joe having a cousin who will now live across the street from him,” she added.
But if that doesn’t happen naturally, Melissa plans to reconcile Kathy and Joe. She said, “I’ll do it because that’s what I want.” [Joe] And I think deep down he wants that too. It’s not like she’s a distant cousin you know, she’s a first cousin and her mother is still here and doing well. “So, you know, I don’t know Aunt Joe, and that’s sad for me,” Melissa added. Maybe Melissa could get some sprinkles.
In a funny twist, Joe offered full price on the same plot of land next to the lake that the Wakeles had purchased. It turns out that Kathy was working with a realtor to get that lot.
