Margaret believes Daniel’s actions were justified.
Prior to the altercation, Jennifer accused Danielle of taking money from a charity. According to Danielle, Danielle had organized an event, paid vendors with the proceeds, and given the rest to the charity. Jennifer then claimed that Danielle tried to sabotage her hairstylist’s photo shoot for her hair extension line. Insults started flying, and Jennifer pushed Danielle away from her. In response, Danielle slapped Jennifer on the side of the head with a plastic cup. The two women were temporarily suspended while Bravo investigated the incident.
Neither Margaret nor Rachel Foda attended Teresa’s party where the altercation occurred. “The truth is, Jennifer pushed her harder than I ever thought she would and she was really the aggressor in that situation,” Margaret told Page Six. “And Daniel had a knee-jerk reaction, which I think no one would do. When I saw it being turned on, I was like, ‘Wow.’ Wow, actually. It’s never fun to watch a physical fight between two adults who should know better.”
Margaret and Danielle were not close friends during season 13 of RHONJ. Margaret stated, “Danielle was in my shoes like that the year before. I didn’t pressure her like that. That didn’t happen between me and Danielle.”
Rachel Voda has some ideas.
Rachel then also influenced Danielle’s actions. “Danielle did what anyone in this group would do,” she said. “If someone pushed you that hard, you would hit your head.”
Rachel continued, “Based on Jennifer Aydin’s track record of aggression and lack of boundaries, what I heard and what I saw were actually the same thing. That’s my expectation of Jen.” She added, “She likes to be the opponent.”
