Luann reveals why she and Olivier are ‘totally opposites’
Their social habits made them incompatible, Luann said on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
“Well, listen, I love him. We’re good friends,” she joked. “You know, good friends.”
“He likes to stay home, he doesn’t like to go to parties. He’s not a social person. That’s the complete opposite of my personality, right?” Luann explained.
“He’s an ordinary person – and a great man, by the way. [But] “He doesn’t like press or photos or anything like that. I understand that,” the RHONY alum said.
Patti Stenger, star of The Millionaire Matchmaker, made the same argument in an interview with Virtual Reali-Tea in April.
“It didn’t work. He didn’t want to do anything. He was like, ‘I like to stay home, I don’t want to go anywhere,’” Patty explained.
“Luanne is the life of the party,” the RHONY alum’s friend added. “There’s no way that would be possible. She’s like, ‘It was so boring.'”
The duo courted the paparazzi for a date night. Olivier took the “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer to Le Bilboquet, a place known for its paparazzi. Luann questioned the decision.
“But we went to Bilboquet, where there are photographers everywhere. I said to myself, ‘Why would you take me to Bilboquet if you don’t want to be noticed?’” she said. “Anyway, he’s a very nice guy. We have mutual friends.”
If not Olivier, maybe another French man? Luann confirmed her dating preferences during the interview.
“I date men, and I enjoy my time with them. I prefer European men, so it’s a little bit harder – but they do exist,” she said.
