Nicole admitted that her ex-boyfriend’s decision came as a surprise to her.

“Although I understand and respect his decision, it is difficult to accept. I opened my heart to him in the villa, and I still love him to this day. I am suffering psychologically and all I ask for is privacy during this time,” she continued.

For his part, Kendall later posted a statement of his own on social media.

“I have decided to end my relationship with Nicole,” he wrote in an Instagram Story on August 20. “It has come to a point where it is no longer healthy for us to continue the relationship. I still love and care for Nicole. I have never felt such strong feelings for a woman in my life.”
